Devon&Devon has invented and reinvented products that
have forever changed the way in which we experience the
bathroom. In 1989, when enclosed baths were in fashion,
the company launched the first Victorian design bathtub,
transforming the bathroom from a functional place into a
beautiful and unique environment dedicated to personal care.
In 1991, the first 30 cm-diameter shower head was introduced:
it looked like an exaggeration, but it became a universal trend.
Since then, everything has been reinvented: the console
(which until then was used only in the entertainment spaces
of the most important residences) has appeared in the bathroom
and wood paneling was re-proposed as a ceramic coating.
Devon&Devon’s history - made of recovered traditions

courageous unconventionality.
Devon&Devon ha inventato e reinventato prodotti che hanno cambiato
per sempre il modo di vivere la stanza da bagno. Nel 1989, epoca di
incassate, propone la prima vasca vittoriana di design e il bagno smette
di essere un luogo-funzione per diventare un ambiente bello e unico
dedicato alla cura di sé. Nel 1991 arriva il primo testa-doccia di 30 cm di
diametro: sembrò un’esagerazione, ma è diventato un trend universale.
Da allora è stata tutta una re-invenzione: la consolle (fino ad allora
utilizzata soltanto negli spazi di rappresentanza delle dimore più
importanti) fa la sua comparsa nella sala da bagno; la boiserie in
legno viene riproposta come rivestimento in ceramica. La storia di
Devon&Devon - fatta di tradizioni recuperate e di funzioni
ridefinite – è una dichiarazione continua di coraggiosa anti-convenzionalità.
