Inspired by the raw power of molten earth, the Magma Suspension is a sculptural
composition where solid brass and glass converge in a dynamic expression of
nature. Presented for the first time at Salone del Mobile, its irregular forms evoke
fragments of magma suspended in motion, capturing a moment where fluidity
meets permanence.
Each element is meticulously handcrafted in Portugal, revealing textured
brass surfaces paired with delicate glass inserts that appear to flow within the
structure. This interplay between metal and glass enhances the sense of depth
and movement, as if molten matter has been frozen mid-transformation.
