Mex. Padded. Generous. Welcoming. Its soft simplicity is visually relaxing. Base and headboard, equipped with a cushion-holder, make it a pleasant continuum. The bed is proposed in a version with a large internal storage space with a hinge opening and spring lifting mechanism, or without the container. Mex can be upholstered in fabric or leather.

The Note Night furnishings designed by Piero Lissoni for both beds are eclectic. The night table with two
open compartments and the cubic drawer can be used independently or integrated amongst themselves. One
or two drawers can be freely placed in the night table.

Bookcase with seven fixed-height shelves, backed and with a frontal vertical panel.
The bookcases, in dark stained oak or white or grey lacquer, may be grouped together.

265-267 Mex
The upholstered parts are contained by sides and back in wood forming a kind of shell. This constructional technique permits the setting, alongside and behind, of the little items of occasional furniture that go to complete the set. For these units, containers and tables, the designer has chosen wood of a notable thickness, the same as the wooden parts of the sofa and the other items that go with it. The same wood is used for the bookcase, backed and with fixed-level shelving, with a single frontal support. The proportions are elegant and the thickness of the wood and the support recall the contours of a book.
The scheme is completed with small, low tables in glass - with white or black painted bases - divided in sections in the same way as the furniture alongside the sofa.

To decline an idea transforming it into a project. A wide range of variations allowing as many combinations for different uses. A development and extension of the Mex range, Mex Cube is offered as a highly versatile system. Seating system with elements, available in two depths to be combined together, with or without backrest and armrests of different shapes and functions, allowing a variety of compositions: corner, straight, island, with opposite seats. The units can be also used individually. The different units are assembled by means of linking plates which can easily be installed on the base frame. The covers are completely removable. The internal frame is in steel and in differenciated-density CFC-free polyurethane foam. Upholstery in feather or polyester wadding.
