Come insito nel suo nome - in italiano leccornie, ghiottonerie - la Gourmandise è una collezione super golosa, e al tempo stesso un inno all’Italia
e al Made in Italy.
“Ho inteso declinare la cioccolata nell’imbottito” dichiara il suo ideatore, il Direttore Creativo di Calia Italia, l’architetto Saverio Calia, che mentre
la presenta ha l’espressione trasognata di chi ha un debole per i dolci e ne apprezza quella maestria tutta italiana, insita nella sua arte.
Una collezione per veri golosi che parte dal cacao e - giungendo alla sensazione di scioglievolezza propria del cioccolatino - ne genera un’intera
famiglia di modelli uno più irresistibile dell’altro.
Attingendo al mondo del cioccolato, non solo come alimento perfetto e ricco ma anche come icona di gusto e stile, Calia Italia dà vita a
Gianduiotto, Cremino, Dragées, Gianduia e Pralin, immaginando di voler accogliere i propri ospiti con un ghiotto vassoio di cioccolatini.
Fil rouge di tutta la collezione è la base che rappresenta il “vassoio” su cui vengono offerti i “cioccolatini”, rappresentati dalle spalliere e
dai braccioli dei singoli modelli, che condividono forma e disegno e si differenziano invece nelle dimensioni. Capostipite della collezione è
il Gianduiotto, i cui cuscini e le cui spalliere evocano l’omonimo cioccolatino torinese, famoso in tutto il mondo per la sua prelibatezza e
l’inconfondibile forma allungata che ricorda un lingotto.
Una collezione di prodotti che incuriosiscono, attraggono, seducono e deliziano. Modelli disegnati per dare vita a una comfort experience

As inherent in its name (in Italian leccornie, gluttony), Gourmandise is a super gluttonous collection whilst being at the same time an ode to Italy and
‘Made in Italy’.
“I wanted to interpret chocolate through upholstery,” says its creator Saverio Calia (the Creative Director of Calia Italia), who, while presenting it, has the
dreamy expression of someone who has a weakness for sweets and appreciates the all-Italian mastery inherent in his art.
This is a collection for true connoisseurs that starts with cocoa and reaches the melting sensation of chocolate, thereby generating an entire family of
models – each one more irresistible than the last.
By seeing chocolate not only as a precious and sumptuous food but also as an icon of taste and style, Calia Italia draws upon the world of chocolate
to give life to Gianduiotto, Cremino, Dragees, Gianduia and Pralin – all whilst imagining how you might want to welcome your guests with a tempting
tray of chocolates.
The central theme running through the entire collection is the base that represents the ‘tray’ on which the ‘chocolates’ are offered. These in turn are
represented by the backrests and armrests of the individual models, which share the same shape and design but differ in size. The star of the collection
is ‘Gianduiotto’, with cushions and backrests that evoke the Turin chocolate of the same name, famous throughout the world for its delicacy and
unmistakable elongated shape reminiscent of an ingot.
Calia Italia presents a collection of products that intrigue, attract, seduce and delight. The models are designed to create a comfort experience that can
be enjoyed to the point of abandoning one’s senses, indeed the triumph of the aesthetics of desire. From formal conversation to the most undisciplined
