Parte di un’ampia famiglia, comprendente
anche il letto matrimoniale, il vanity,
l’home office e il comodino, la panca
Nelson bench riscrive i codici stilistici tipici
del classico design anni Cinquanta in una
chiave spiccatamente contemporanea. Ne
scaturisce un design originale, che mette in
risalto le qualità dei materiali, nettamente
scanditi nelle diverse parti. La base,
formata da una coppia di montanti con
supporti terminali rastremati, è in realizzata
metallo. Il piano, sottile e rigoroso e con
bordi arrotondati in legno noce Canaletto,
sorregge una minimale seduta imbottita,
dal disegno morbido, rivestita in tessuto in
numerose varianti.
Part of a large family including a double
bed, vanity, home office and bedside
table, the Nelson bench rewrites the
typical stylistic codes of classic 1950s
design in a distinctly contemporary key.
The result is a highly original item which
highlights the qualities of the materials that
are clearly divided into different sections.
The metal base consists of a pair of
uprights with tapered end supports while
the slim and rigorous top is in Canaletto
walnut with rounded edges. This in turn
has a minimal padded seat with a soft
design, covered in fabric available in a
wide range of choices.
