Light \nshould shine for us, not on us.\nWe also believe in lighting that answers to funda-\nmental human needs. The need to be able to see, \nread and write, but also to reflect, envision and \nimagine. The need to be a part of a dynamic social \ncontext, but also to be able to withdraw to a personal \nsphere of familiarity and safety. \nTechnology and innovation are at the heart of \nwhat we do and are crucial to providing good light. \nHowever, we understand that what’s technically \npossible is not always humanly preferable.
