He emigrated to New York In 1939, and \nafter success designing the majority of Hans Knoll’s first furniture \ncollection, he established his own design company. Jens Risom \nDesign Inc. grew to be one of the three largest furniture companies in \nAmerica, with offices spanning to Argentina, England and Australia. \nHis designs continue to inspire many today and his legacy remains \nstrongly present in the design world.\nOEO Studio\nOEO Studio was founded in 2003 and is based in Copenhagen, \nDenmark, with a project office in Tokyo. The chair \nis supremely light and compact with a structure \nthat has been reduced to its very essence.
