Many items Sergio \nAsti drew are present in the collections \nof the most important museums and in  \nprivate collections in Italy and abroad. \nHe was awarded with many \nacknowledgements on several \noccasions: The Milan Triennal, \nCompasso d’Oro (The Golden \nCompass), M.O.M.A. in N.Y., \nPhiladelphia Museum, BJO in Ljubljana, \nand he won awards abroad (France, \nJapan). \nHe was often invited for collective and \npersonal exhibition: in Italy, Canada, \nUnited States, Japan, Germany, \nNetherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Brazil \nand France.\nAprès son diplôme en architecture au \nPolytechnique de Milan, il développa sa \nprofession à Milan au cours des années \ncinquante et il fut assistant de la chaire \nd’architecture d’intérieurs (1953-1958).\nDans le domaine du design industriel, \nil a été parmi les premiers à se pencher \nsur cette question au cours des années \ncinquante. Im Bereich Industrial Design \nwar er unter den ersten, die während \nder 50er Jahre an dieses Problem \nherangingen. Er ist unter den Gründer \nder ADI und er ist noch heutzutage \nEhrenmitglied  dieser Akademie. \nEr hat an verschiedenen \nExekutivausschüssen und \nArbeitskomitees derselben ADI \nteilgenommen. Er hat Ausbildungskurse \nim Bereich I.D. bei der „Istituto \nSuperiore d’Arte (Kunsthochschule)“ \nvon Venedig und im Ausland bei \nder „Istituto Sperimentale Superiore \n(Experimentalhochschule)“ von \nShizuoka  in Japan, gehalten. \nEr hat viele Konferenzen gehalten und \nhat an verschiedenen runden Tischen \nin Italien und im Ausland, insbesondere \nin Frankreich, Deutschland, Portugal, \nin den USA, Japan, China, Indien und \nThailand teilgenommen. \nEr ist Mitglied vieler \nPreisrichterkollegien für Architektur- und \nI.D.(Innenraumarchitektur)-Wettbewerbe \nsowohl in Italien als auch im Ausland \ngewesen. Viele der von Sergio Asti \ngezeichneten Gegenstände sind bei \nden Kunstsammlungen der wichtigsten \nMuseen und bei Privatkunstsammlungen \nin Italien und im Ausland ausgestellt. \nEr hat viele Anerkennungen bei \nverschiedenen Gelegenheiten \nbekommen:  Triennale von Mailand, \nCompasso d’Oro, M.O.M.A. von \nN.Y., Philadelphia Museum, BJO von \nLubljana.
