Nate per il ponte di uno \nyacht - grazie anche alle protezioni in gomma \nposte sotto le strutture che non lasciano traccia \nsul deck, realizzate con lo stesso materiale con \ncui sono fatte le suole delle calzature iconiche di \nLoro Piana - The Delight Chairs sono perfette \nper giardino, terrazzo e bordo piscina. \nPaola Navone Otto Studio designed the chair’s \nsleek shape and extended armrest, perfect for \nholding a book, glass or whatever one might want \nto keep handy while relaxing or enjoying good \ncompany in the open air. Exteta crafted the wood \nentirely by hand, choosing Sapelli mahogany for its \nsuperlative quality and fine veining, treated with \na matte or glossy finish that has a beautifully silky \nhandfeel, perfect for interpreting the elegant lines \nof the design. Lastly, Loro Piana Interiors created \na range of fabrics for outdoor use which stand \nup to sunlight, rain showers, chlorine and salt \nwater, as well as being flame-retardant, and with \nan inviting consistency that recalls the cool touch \nof cotton and linen. This led to the first design \nin The Delight Chairs range: a folding director’s \nchair with structure in wood and back and seat \nin fabric. Nate per il ponte di uno \nyacht - grazie anche alle protezioni in gomma \nposte sotto le strutture che non lasciano traccia \nsul deck, realizzate con lo stesso materiale con \ncui sono fatte le suole delle calzature iconiche di \nLoro Piana - The Delight Chairs sono perfette \nper giardino, terrazzo e bordo piscina. \nPaola Navone Otto Studio designed the chair’s \nsleek shape and extended armrest, perfect for \nholding a book, glass or whatever one might want \nto keep handy while relaxing or enjoying good \ncompany in the open air. Exteta crafted the wood \nentirely by hand, choosing Sapelli mahogany for its \nsuperlative quality and fine veining, treated with \na matte or glossy finish that has a beautifully silky \nhandfeel, perfect for interpreting the elegant lines \nof the design. Lastly, Loro Piana Interiors created \na range of fabrics for outdoor use which stand \nup to sunlight, rain showers, chlorine and salt \nwater, as well as being flame-retardant, and with \nan inviting consistency that recalls the cool touch \nof cotton and linen. The fabrics come in both \nattractive solid colourways and complementary \npatterns to mix and match.\nThis ideal formula led to the creation of a \ncomplete Delight Chairs range, which, apart from \nthe original director’s chair, now includes a non-\nfolding armchair and a stool that doubles up as a \ntable, and the latest additions: a fun rocking chair, \na comfortable sunbed, a dining table and two \noccasional tables.
