Capisco che in quei \npreziosi Bianchi&Neri l’atmosfera è quella giusta, \nil nostro racconto può iniziare. trovare la chiave \nper inserire le lampade? Anche qui un’intuizione! \nHo appoggiato semplicemente sulla stampa in \nbianco e nero una diapositiva 6x6, con all’interno \nlo scatto della lampada. Magicamente, in quel \npiccolo quadrato, la luce illumina la scena, \ni colori si fanno spazio tra i grigi, l’alchimia \ntra analogico e digitale è compiuta.  \nOgni immagine è un film, ogni immagine ci  \nfa volare altrove.\nBuona visione! \n— Massimo Gardone, fotografo\nEVERY IMAGE IS A FILM, EVERY IMAGE \nMAKES US FLY, ARRIVING ELSEWHERE.\n \nWhen Foscarini asked me to interpret \nthe contract locations for the new lamps in \na different and ironic way, the idea arose of \ninserting the products in old films. It was like \nlighting a fuse. I was presented with an idea,  \nand asked to find a poetic angle for that \nintuition, suggesting timeless settings.  \nAnd there they are, like snippets of old movies, \na parade of scenes from the historical archives \nof Bridgeman Images. I understood that the \natmosphere in those precious black+white \nplaces is the right one, and our story could \nbegin. How to find the key to insert the lamps \nin the pictures? Once again, it was a matter of \nintuition! I simply placed a 6x6 slide containing \nthe shot of the lamp on the black+white print. \nAs if by magic, light fills the scene in that little \nsquare, the colours find their way amidst the \ngreys, the alchemy between analogue and digital \nsuddenly happens.
