My work as
a designer has been enriched over the years with a shared ex-
perience, very close to people: my personal blog about design.
Sharing ideas and visions in the world of design and its evolution
has always led me to broader considerations on the concept of
luxury. As well as fashion is not homologation, in the same way,
luxury cannot be conceived as a mere economic factor. Expensive
does not necessarily mean luxurious. Luxury is rather a refusal of
compromise. It is above all personalization. Fashion and design
are two projections of ourselves, the first focused on our person,
the second on spaces that surround us. And luxury is also the
ability to satisfy one’s desires. My aesthetic taste is led by an el-
egant eccentricity, separated from time, but consistent with my
emotions. Luxury brands have begun to dialogue with their mar-
kets with a more human-to-human approach. More stories of life
lived, experiences, emotions, more contact with reality. Fashion
and design have accepted the challenge of enriching their col-
lections with more human-centred themes. Luxury fashion and
luxury design now are closer to people than ever. Andes armchair
is a tribute to strength, which emerges and explodes thanks to
the choice of the rich cotton velvet for the padding. Charisma
and metamorphosis are the leitmotif of Essex, a small armchair
that with its velvet knows how to impose itself in every space
in which it is inserted. Functionality broadens the horizons and
now imposes itself to confer aesthetic pleasure and satisfaction.
Decadence bookcase proudly exhibits its functionality, indeed, it
elevates its symbolism. Fashion is inspired by real personalities,
it focuses on the iconic power of the muses. Transgression and
inspiration come together in Talitha, the sandal by Yves Saint
Laurent that bears the name of his favourite model.
A SELECTION OF MUST-HAVE
LUXURY ITEMS
FROM DESIGN TO FASHION
Essex armchair by BRABBU
",17
"/media/images/62/0755deccb2c7623d84206b97e64bfe.18.png","The design pays homage to the music and the verve of Tina
Turner in the Turner floor lamp concept. Not just stories, luxury
is also expressed in shapes, sizes and materials.
Diamond Emerald stands out for its refined and unusual lines
and luxurious colours, with a personality that magnetizes the
attention. Also, the Pixel cabinet has this eccentric role, above
all because it boasts a strong mix between design and crafts-
manship. How an icon becomes a must-have? With reverence
for the past and openness to the future. And this is how the
Minimal Baroque eyewear collection pays tribute to the Baroque
art. Creative experimentation, meticulous craftsmanship and
exuberance reflect Newton, an ingenious idea. Design, as well
as fashion, is an attitude, and it should be sensual and exciting,
as Sottsass has taught us. Working on a wide variety of projects, from a collection of
furniture for Ceccotti to a lighting design for Baccarat, as well as
a hotel in Marrakech, the designer has created his own particular
design language following a style that is best defined as being nat-
ural, flexible, organic, yet structured. Duchaufour-Lawrence first
discovered the world of design when he was 13, as he looked at
a Philippe Starck catalogue. He immediately became intrigued by
it and thought that there was something to do there, especially
when it comes to furniture. So, as time went by, he started to draw
and design objects. Another happening that propelled his knowl-
edge and passion for design was when his stepfather brought an
article from the UK about the Israeli designer and architect Ron
Arad. That was the moment when he really discovered this whole
culture of designing and he was really impressed by this world.
So, these two creators were really the basis for his understanding
of design. Although the designer does not have a specific type of
design that he likes the most, he often works on a lot of armchairs
and sofas, also disclosing that “the hardest part is lighting design.
I think it’s more complex than what you think ... There’s a sort
of correlation between efficiency and beauty and quality of light”.
Regarding recent and future projects, the designer has plenty on
his mind, starting with a series of products for St. Louis Crystal –
which will be launched in 2019 –, designing furniture pieces for an
art gallery in Rome, and creating apartment furniture for a private
client in the USA. He is also working on exclusive pieces for a po-
lice building in SoHo, New York, and this one is being developed
in collaboration with the renowned architect Annabelle Selldorf.
The designer also revealed that he is currently working one of his
biggest projects to date, a massive house in the Hamptons. “It’s
a very big project, it’s a huge propriety with 13 hectares and I’m
working with a landscape designer for this project. We are work-
ing together to find a way to create a prolongation between ar-
chitecture, interior design and landscape, to connect all the dots”.
One of the aspects he loves the most about the whole design pro-
cess is following the production, going to the places where the
things are produced. He really enjoys the relationship created with
craftsmen and developing an object with them. In addition, he
also likes the idea of transferring parts and inspirations from na-
ture inside his spaces and designs, “bringing these moments of in-
spiration through the furniture in a domestic environment”.
",44
"/media/images/62/0755deccb2c7623d84206b97e64bfe.45.png","COVETED MAGAZINE PAGE 45.
EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW //
Chalet Béranger By Noé Duchaufour Lawrance
Chalet Béranger By Noé Duchaufour Lawrance
Estampe Cabinet By Noé Duchaufour Lawrance
",45
"/media/images/62/0755deccb2c7623d84206b97e64bfe.46.png","Kim Grenaa has more than 20 years of experience
in the fashion and lifestyle industries.
EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW
WITH KIM GRENAA
renaa is the creative director at Grenaa Creative, where
he develops concepts, campaigns and fashion shows for
brands and magazines, including Hugo Boss, H&M, Designer’s
Remix, ELLE and Harper’s Bazaar. Finally, Grenaa is also the Creative Director and Co-Ed-
itor in Chief of the bi-annual DANSK Magazine. Personally, Kim is in the process of
moving from the vibrant Meatpacking District in Copenhagen to
an idyllic house just outside the city. A change which requires re-
furbishment and reconstruction. It is an inspiring process, which
has forced Kim to look at trends and tendencies from new sources
and angles. The process is part of the way Kim works profession-
ally, where pleasure and work affect each other – and that is how
his worlds cross paths.
CovetED Magazine: What drove you to become a fashion critic?
Kim Grenaa: To me, I don’t have a job. I have a hobby,
which I am lucky enough to be able to make a living of. I have
a natural interest for fashion, which also makes it exciting for
me to communicate fashion to others. Fashion is where you can
most easily read new trends, even societal trends, and fashion is
therefore much more than just a dress or its colour.
CM: How do you feel about fashion?
KG: Though I love fashion and the industry in which I work, I
have mixed feelings. We are an industry which pollutes and enables
overconsumption – and this is the part of the industry that I am
not proud of, and that needs rethinking. Let’s start a revolution!
CM: What advice would you give the next generation, who
daydreams about following in your footsteps?
KG: Be dedicated and work hard.
CM: What colour should we wear?
KG : I expect to see a lot of lilac in the coming season.
CM: What current trend do you think will still be around in the
next year?
KG: Right now, we see a lot of mixing in styling. With references to
history together with a mix of different colours and prints, which is
definitely here to stay. Compared to the other major fashion
weeks, I think it is long overdue.
CM: Do you believe that 2018 will be “less is more” or “more is
never enough”?
KG: More is never enough, definitely. Thankfully, we are turning
back towards the pretty and beautiful, and shy away from the social
realism of last year. Hence the ladies at the Versace show and the
enormous disco balls at Moncler!
CM: Which are the major themes that will dominate the fashion
industry?
KG: We are definitely seeing a trend where women are designing
for men. Stella McCartney, Isabel Marant, Claire Weight Keller,
to mention a few. Also, this year Véronique Nichanian is to
celebrate her 30 years anniversary as menswear designer at Hermès.
Congratulations and well done!
CM: Which prints and patterns?
KG: Rainbow stripes! Why chose one colour when you can have
them all? Dolce & Gabbana, Thom Browne and Missoni worked
the whole colour palette this season. PVC will also be impossible
to avoid this season, Chanel is making sure of that. Weather it is a
bag, hat or coat, PVC will be a fashionable choice. But, please, let it
be recycled!
CM: What should we dump?
KG: Never dump anything. See fashion as a cycle! I have created
my own personal second hand store in my basement. Here I keep
all items which I’m not wearing at the moment. Every season, I
visit the basement and discover some of my old pieces again. It is
like shopping for free!
CM: In one word or phrase, what’s your prediction for the next year
in the fashion industry?
KG: Sustainability.
CM: Beyond the current fashion capitals, where do you expect the
next wave of exciting fashion ideas to come from?
KG: Copenhagen! First of all, Copenhagen Fashion Week is
currently the most visited Fashion Week in Northern Europe. Also,
Danish fashion models are storming the international fashion
scene and work as great ambassadors. Where Danish fashion
used to be focused mainly on us, Scandis, we are also seeing an
internationalisation through global events and acquisitions.
CM: What’s the biggest stayer of the year?
KG: The tote bag. We have an excessive use of plastic bags. Several
African countries have actually made a prohibition against them.
Tote bags are a great and fashionable alternative and can turn your
outfit laidback-chic in an instant!
CM: If we buy one thing today for the next year, what should it be?
KG: A Loewe bag.
CM: Which designer are we about to love?
KG: Alexandre Mattiussi is doing a great job with Ami, capturing a
young and cool type of Parisian nonchalance within men’s fashion.
I am exited to see what he will bring in the future!
CM: What’s the best news about the next year in the fashion
industry?
KG: H&M is known for launching exciting and new concepts.
Rumour has it that they will present a new one in 2018, a luxury
outlet called P12. Their interior design makes them true
works of art, while the private home manager service will help
you feel at home right away.
CovetED Magazin: Unique, luxurious and ready-to-live. How
would you explain these concepts?
Gérard Faivre: This is a very important concept for foreign
customers because, when a foreigner buys an apartment in France,
they would like to live there as fast as possible. Normally, a project
has the duration of 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years…and the
price is constantly accumulating. With this concept, when I show
a house to a client, it’s already done. I created this concept because
it is very complicated for a foreigner to buy a house in France and,
with the ready-to-live factor, it’s easier.
CM: How do you plan your projects? Then, I’m
researching the location because the location does the project.
I speak with the location and the location speaks with me. I do
the projects in conformity with its localization. Then, I renew,
I imagine a décor. The difference between me and a decorator is
that a decorator has his own style, it’s always the same in all his
projects. Federica was kind enough to share some
thoughts with us after the Rising Talents Conference and later
conceded us an exclusive interview, sharing her thoughts on ev-
erything, from her nomination to what drives her in the design
world. What was it like
to have your own stand?
FB: I’ve been there twice before, but I think this year has been
better than the past years. I had a little space to show my products!
It was a success and it was very interesting to understand the
people’s opinion too!
CM: What was the first thing you thought when you knew you’d
be a Rising Talent Awardee?
FB: I thought “Really?”. It was a big surprise, I was astonished!
CM: What’s your relationship with Andrea Branzi [Federica’s
designator] like? Does he comment on your work or help in any
way?
FB: I’ve never met Andrea Branzi before. I discovered from Maison
et Objet that he nominated me. I really appreciate him as master of
design, the way he thinks is an example for me.
CM: What was it like for you to leave Milan and go to Amsterdam?
What were your expectations?
FB: I didn’t have any expectations, but when I arrived there, I felt
the beauty of the city and the peace of the canals. Form, colour, beauty,
trends are fundamental to me and my research.
CM: What would you say are your core inspirations?
What drives you?
FB: The process starts often with an inspiration
taken by the past, or from nature. I like the existing
objects that man has created over the times. I like to
think of restoring a new life to past epochs, riveting
modern objects. For me, research is fundamental to
creating an object. I don’t stop and I find inspiration
in any field. With my projects, I want to move, to
touch the customer, that’s my aim. What do you have to say regarding
the role of women in design, and, more specifically,
in Italian Design?
FB: For years, men in design were more than
women, and many women of design were the wives
of great designers. Now everything is changed, I
think that now many women are really assuming
this profession. Despite this, there are those who
think we are only good at decorating. From mid-century
style to industrial design hotels, Studio Simonetti is a mandatory
reference in what concerns luxurious interior design projects that
evoke emotions and passion through every single detail. Splendido
Bay Luxury Spa Resort was no exception since the Italian interior
design firm carried out an amazing work renovating the building,
as well as designing the interiors of the five-star hotel. In the end,
they provided a luxurious hotel that features dazzling mid-century
lamps and some of the most breathtaking views ever.
The main goal of this hotel design project was to transform the
pre-existing holiday village into a luxury resort that is also a place
of “otium”, this is, that brings out the calmness and serenity of its
surrounding area.
Within easy reach of the historic cities of Mantua, Verona and
Brescia, Splendido Bay Luxury Resort has a simple, yet classy
décor, that was inspired by the need to mix contemporary and
unique design pieces with the typically more classic part of luxury
hotels. Its extravagant form, reminiscent of
a musical organisation, perfectly emphasises the
generally vertical orientation of the space.
Developing the interior of this living room, the
designers decided to add a fireplace, which was
framed by elegant grey structures and pendant
hanging lamps. The presence of high ceilings means
the possibility of installing massive designer lamps.
This time, they decided to fill the space with a chic
chandelier from the Portuguese brand LUXXU. Made
of brass and elegant crystal, it created a luxurious
atmosphere and brought even more glam to the
living room.
“High windows let in a lot of light, so even the coolest
shades do not seem gloomy, and the noble texture of
marble plays a new pattern in the daylight. [...] We
decided to make the sleeping area completely soft.
From the ceiling, the velvet wall upholstery smoothly
turns into a wide bed and ends with a wide carpet of
a grey-coffee hue. At the wall, decorated with a dark
glass, there was a small banquet.
Here, we decided to add an unusually curved lamp
that seems to frame this part of the room and serves
as local lighting. Opposite the bed, traditionally
equipped with a TV-zone, the area is complemented
by a design of laconic drawers. We’ve decided to
highlight the wall using a decorative panel in ashy
tones, the print of which remotely resembles the
silhouettes of flowering trees. In order to bring a
piece of Renaissance art to our bedroom, we placed a
bust of Venus Milosskaya made of white stone. This
zone is equipped with a high mirror with a perimeter
illumination. We also picked up a small designer
pouffe and, above the table, we decided to install a
poetic pendant lamp in the form of hovering moon
birds”. The Savage Ground house definitely turned
out to be a project that defies the laws of aesthetic.
When we start to talk about the Savage Ground
project that took place in Ukraine, at Villa Kozin,
we have to highlight the powerful marble columns
and their strength, the details of the crystals that
reflect purity and subtlety, and the yellow metal
that symbolises the inexhaustible energy and
heat. We sat down with the Rosko Design studio
professionals that were responsible for the project.
They’ve explained to us that they used the principle
of symmetrical arrangement of objects, as in the
traditional classical style, and complemented the
interior with modern art objects that reflect the
philosophy of our days.
As we listened to CEO Anatoly Roskovsko and
Designer Katerina, we realised they used many
sources of soft light to unobtrusively emphasise the
main accents in the rooms, as well as the contrast
of dark and light tones, to create a harmonious
palette in the interior. It’s impossible not to notice
the decor items of the world’s leading brands, such
as WALTER KNOLL, DelightFULL, LUXXU and
others in this project. Inspired by the abstract work
of Catherine Severac, it became the key scene in the
living room of the house. “In the hall, we used a lot
of warm light, which gently and elegantly fought
in the gloss of floor marble. Crystal and gilding
of massive chandeliers give the interior a special
atmosphere and luxury. [...] For this hall, we decided
to choose a special individual element - aquariums
in the floor. Of course, the peculiarities of their
operation was taken into account, the construction
and glazing of the aquariums were carried out under
the guidance of competent specialists. Therefore, the
owners don’t have to worry about their strength,
but simply enjoy unusual designs and surprise the
guests”. It’s undeniable that the columns turned
to be a striking accent to this room. Although they
perform a basic function (to separate the dining area
from the common space), they add a sense of order
and sobriety hard to achieve. As a matter of fact, they
organically fit into the interior as the grey marble
highlights the glowing blocks at the bottom of each
column. Thus, it seems that the columns are floating
above the floor, radiating warm light.
“The choice of furniture
was based on the WALTER
KNOLL brand, which
attracted the designers with its
laconic forms.”
PROJECTS //
",61
"/media/images/62/0755deccb2c7623d84206b97e64bfe.62.png","PARIS IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA
WITH A JAMES BOND IRREVERENT TOUCH
Everybody knows that Audrey Hepburn said “Paris is always a
good idea”. But how many of us know that this city, more than
a state of mind, is a state of art and design? Yes, it’s not that
obvious. Usually, we associate Paris simply with romance. And
we forget about the anonymous painters. And we forget about
Montmartre (how can it be?). And we forget about art and design.
And then, when we realize, we forget a little about ourselves, too.
Somewhere in Clichy - in the 9th arrondissement of Paris - there is
a stunning place, almost taken out of a movie, that was the subject
of a home makeover by interior design studio [10surdix].
This French team created an inspiring modern home filled with
industrial accents and a mid-century sideboard that you won’t
ever forget. In the centre of this French movie, there is an English
star, as big as James Bond itself – the Monocles Sideboard. This
movie-inspired sideboard makes all the difference in the room. As
soon as you see it, you feel that you’re in a James Bond movie and,
damn it, that you are James Bond himself. To decorate a place with
a 70s groove couldn’t have been easier since its gold plated brass
lights up a room all by itself. The monocles circles are engraved on
the back and side of the unit, giving it an extreme character and
high-end look. Retro lovers and mid-century aficionados become
admired with such a décor beauty. This renovated house, entirely
designed by the French trio, displays an open plan living very
characteristic of industrial interiors.
The more modern and slightly bohemian look was achieved not
only with Essential Home’s Monocles sideboard but also with
DelightFULL’s minimalist Clark chandelier. Deciding to use an
oversized mirror simply placed against the wall, they made a way
to convey a relaxed vibe in such a wide space as this living room.
The concrete wall behind the television attributed a special touch
with the handpainted flowers on the top. The canopy between the
master bedroom and the corridor was handmade especially for this
sole purpose in the studios’ workshops near Paris. On
the dining side, the team is equally prestigious: Frédéric Pedrono,
the Director of the Restaurant - who was particularly successful
at Ledoyen with both Christian Le Squer and Yannick Alléno - is
supported by Daniel Pires, a sommelier who is trained alongside
Philippe Bourguignon at Laurent. Thélème is a place of unique
life, associating without confusing the restaurant’s gastronomical,
bistronomic and cultural space. It is about art, in all its semantic
amplitude. The decor plays an essential role, which translates here
into a resolutely contemporary inspiration, racy, and intimate. To
meet this high aesthetic requirement, the architect Dominique
AZZI signed the interior decoration of the two establishments, at
13 and 18 rue Troyon. The place in which life is taking place today
La Scéne Thélème has been entirely refurbished in order to be able
to integrate the autonomous theatre room, overhung by a midnight-
blue ceiling that matches the thick velvet curtains that contribute
to the creating an intimate atmosphere. Julien Roucheteau, until
then at the head of one of the most discreet starred tables in Paris,
La Table du Lancaster (Hotel Lancaster) joined the adventure
of La Scène Thélème in September 2017, seduced by a unique
establishment in this genre. He and his troupe had only one idea
in mind: to ensure the show every day and put it on stage! This
young Chef, considered one of the best of his generation, has shown
throughout his admirable career a keen sense of work and a desire
for perfection. Two traits that have always pushed him to even
more requirements. Julien Roucheteau felt attracted ever since his
childhood by cooking, grade-A products and friendliness: a no-
brainer, considering that he grew up with a butcher-caterer father,
farmer grandparents and a mother who spends most of his time
behind the furnaces. His cuisine? A simple cuisine, technical and
precise, rather light. A minimalist plate, very meticulous, perfectly
orchestrated. The Chef likes to work around acidity with several
kinds of vinegar, wines or citrus fruits. He also uses a lot of herbs
and loves broths. The Chef is fond of all these elements that bring
flavour and structure to the plate but without weighing it down.
Website: www.lascenetheleme.fr
Address: 18 Rue Troyon, 75017 Paris, France
",104
"/media/images/62/0755deccb2c7623d84206b97e64bfe.105.png","COVETED MAGAZINE PAGE 105.
LE BAUDELAIRE BAR & RESTAURANT
PARIS, FRANCE
Paris provides with plenty of luxury restaurants for one to revel
in, and CovetED had the immense please to experience a culinary
gem in the Michelin-starred Le Baudelaire Bar & Restaurant,
located in the five-star Le Burgundy Hotel. So we went
on tour to Paris, the city of lights, the city of Love and the city of the
most wonderful restaurants. And what a wonderful experience we
had at Spoon Restaurant & Bar. Spoon is located in the Palais Brong-
niart. A la carte of this DUCASSE Restaurant, recipes are inspired
by the World’s culinary traditions. Gastronomic entrepreneur Alain
Ducasse’s new version of his restaurant Spoon occupies the former
premises of one of Yannick Alleno’s Terroir Parisian restaurants in
the Palais Brogniart, the old Paris stock-market building in the heart
of the city, which were redesigned in a curiously nondescript way
by the otherwise tremendously elegant interior architect Jean-Mi-
chel Wilmotte. The second we got inside the restaurant, the decora-
tion stood out immediately. There was a mixture of modern design
perfectly combined with rustic details, such as wood dining tables
and big dark iron objects. The decor was completed by incredible
objects from several different countries, displayed as if we were also
inside a historical museum. The restaurant wasn’t very big, but ex-
tremely comfortable, warm and the kind of place we do not wish
to leave. Spoon is perfect for romantic dinners, for business lunch-
es and, in spite of its size, is also very nice for big group dinners.
And don’t be surprised if you spend most of your time admiring the
walls and the details you keep finding all the time. So, it’s a fact that
the decor takes you on a trip around the world. When you pass the
entrance, you get to Asia with a huge bronze bell and an impressive
gong, which you could actually interact with. By the tables, you
pack your bags again, this time into the African continent, with sev-
eral ancient instruments displayed on the walls, which we believe to
be called mbiras. Also, the music is a special feature from Spoon and
a free ticket to travelling around the world as well. You can listen to
music from different countries. And what a surprise it was to listen
to our so beloved fado in a Parisian restaurant! A wonderful multi-
cultural experience! Enough now of luxury interior design. Let’s talk
about the food. What can I say? Also multicultural, of course. Since
we were having some difficulties in choosing, we asked the nice
staff to surprise us with what they thought to be the best. And it
was the best food that we have ever tried. We tasted Indian spices,
Asian specialities and a marvellous combination of flavours in the
desserts that we had yet to experience. It was easy to see that every-
thing was made with ingredients with the highest quality. With the
coffee, came a small square of Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse. According to Edun Loweth, “the stores need
to adapt to how people are starting to dress [...]; if
you didn’t gender a store, there’d be a lot more men
buying things that were actually womenswear”.
Following London, Milan started its cycle of
events with the big houses representing the best
of Italian fashion. Kim Jones
announced his retirement as the men’s artistic
director of Louis Vuitton after seven years. The
brand’s show was accompanied by public figures
mainly with a big impact in fashion, such as
Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, who walked
down the runway with the artistic director in
matching Louis Vuitton monogrammed coats.
Ami’s rainy rooftop show was a romantic ode to
Paris, with a show which, once more, emphasised
the designer’s profound attachment to Paris. “It’s my
story, I’m from Paris, I adore this city. It’s the tale
of a bunch of mates who get together in the name
of friendship, solidarity and goodwill. There’s a
lot of love in what I do”, said Alexandre Mattiussi,
Ami’s Creative Designer. Quite classic, surreal,
supremely elegant, full of incredibly beautiful garments.
Silhouettes looked very much to the past, sometimes
using the elegance that comes with conservatism and
confidence to ground the looks.
Looking to combine artisanal tradition with contemporary ideas,
Italian designer Pierpaolo Piccioli unveiled his Spring/Summer
collection. The Pierpaolo Piccioli’s Spring Haute Couture collection
for the Italian house was every fashion lover’s dream come to life. The
runway was full of a multitude of spring hues, including hot pink,
lavender and seafoam green.
Beautiful, rebellious and dramatic, the Dior Spring/Summer 2018
Haute Couture show was inspired by celebrating women artists.
There were no bags and only a couple of shoe styles.
Off the catwalks, the fashion influencers and opinion makers brought the most
intricate and painstakingly beautiful looks to the streets modelling of their own.
Giving us a season of epic street style moments, the looks standout outside the shows.
The fashion world attendees fought the biting cold weather and rain with warm fur and fleece
layers, with people displaying unconventional styling, series of monochromatic looks, complete
with berets and coats that are eye-catching.
The fashion week’s audience is one of the main focus and draws the attention of the media that
promotes the sources of inspiration and trends of those who dare the most and those who stand
out with their irreverence choices, making the difference.
The London streets were marked by oversize coats, sweaters, bulky scarves, coats, decked out in
everything from timeless tailoring to totally of the moment sneakers. The main idea is to combine
the classic and casual with sportswear, mixing conservative and daily clothes. The fashion flock has
migrated to Milan for the second season of menswear shows. The week was mainly marked by the
presentation of fashion houses such as Armani, Prada, Ermenegildo Zegna or Fendi. Most of the
opinion makers were dressed in Nike sneakers and surprising accessories like berets and leather totes.
In Paris, the best street-style looks included plenty of women in straight-up couture, low heels,
jeans and relaxed suits, floor-length coats and berets. The elegance present on the streets was
a great highlight, not only during the haute couture shows but also in the menswear shows.
Men showed up in puffers, utility jumpsuits and their accessory of choice: a super-bright scarf.
Dressing for snowy, slushy weather, with tons of statement outerwear, combat boots, vibrant
scarves and other great accessories, the street style in New York stood out, especially because the
main idea was not to follow a common line of pieces but to put together different styles, with
the irreverent hairstyles also dazzling the streets of New York.
Gum
Image Credit: Marcus Tondo / Indigital.tv
",117
"/media/images/62/0755deccb2c7623d84206b97e64bfe.118.png",118
"/media/images/62/0755deccb2c7623d84206b97e64bfe.119.png","COVETED MAGAZINE PAGE 119.
",119
"/media/images/62/0755deccb2c7623d84206b97e64bfe.120.png","10 sur Dix - Design lab
Website: www.10surdix.com
Address: 10 Rue Cassette, 75006 Paris, France
Aldeco
Website: www.aldeco.pt
Address: Rua da Saibreira, 265/269 - Parque Industrial de Grijó
4415 538 GRIJÓ VNG, Portugal
Balmoral Hotel
Website: www.roccofortehotels.com/hotels-and-resorts/the-bal-
moral-hotel
Address: 1 Princes St, Edinburgh EH2 2EQ, UK
Baselworld
Website: www.baselworld.com
Address: CH – 4005 Basel Switzerland
Boca do Lobo
Website: www.bocadolobo.com
Address: Rua Particular de Regueirais nº33, 4435-379 Rio Tinto,
Porto, Portugal
Brabbu
Website: www.brabbu.com
Address: Rua Particular de Regueirais nº33, 4435-379 Rio Tinto,
Porto, Portugal
Caffè dell’Oro
Website:
Address: Lungarno degli Acciaiuoli, 4, 50123 Firenze FI, Italy
Christian Lacroix
Website: https://christian-lacroix.com/en/
Address: Christian Lacroix, 5 rue Henri Rochefort, 75017 Paris,
France
Christopher’s
Website: www.christophersgrill.com
Address: Covent Garden, 18 Wellington St, London WC2E
7DD, UK
Circu
Website: www.circu.net
Address: Rua Particular de Regueirais nº33, 4435-379 Rio Tinto,
Porto, Portugal
Covet House Paris
Website: www.covethouse.eu
Address: 154 Rue des Rosiers, 93400 Saint-Ouen FRANCE
Covet House UK
Website: www.covethouse.eu
Address: Regal House, Lensbury Avenue Fulham, London SW6
2GZ
Covet House USA
Website: www.covethouse.eu
Address: 9255 Center Street, Suite 102 Old Town Manassas
Virginia 20110
Crossbasket Castle
Website: www.crossbasketcastle.com
Address: Crossbasket Castle, Stoneymeadow Rd, East Kilbride,
Glasgow G72 9UE, UK
David Collins Studio
Website: www.davidcollins.com
Address: 74 Farm Ln, Fulham, London SW6 1QA, UK
Delightfull
Website: www.delightfull.eu
Address: Rua Particular de Regueirais nº33, 4435-379 Rio Tinto,
Porto, Portugal
Essential Home
Website: www.essentialhome.eu
Address: Rua Particular de Regueirais nº33, 4435-379 Rio Tinto,
Porto, Portugal
Exteta
Website: www.exteta.it
Address: 1 Via Lavoratori Autobianchi, Desio, MB 20832, Italy
Federica Biasi Studio
Website: /www.federicabiasi.com
Address: Federica Biasi c/o Sciesanove, Via A.
