Toccare per esserci e per capire. Mi è \ntornata in mente pensando alla materia di cui sono fatti questi \narredi: la lana, il legno, la pietra. La lana è quella finissima di Cloth \nErmenegildo Zegna, che ricopre gli imbottiti Carpanese Home.  \nIl legno è quello dei pezzi disegnati da Giorgio Bonaguro e Matteo \nZorzenoni, con l’art direction di Studio Federico Peri.\n \nLa pietra — anzi il calcestruzzo, in una particolare \nnuance di rosso — è quello della casa dove sono state scattate le \nfoto. Vetrate e luce, nel progetto di Mide Architetti: una casa che \nsi apre, che accoglie la natura e il verde. \n \nMa sdraiarsi per terra è anche semplicemente sedersi su \nuna poltrona, un divano. Toccare i tessuti. Il legno. Forza viva. \nTorno al legno: è quello dell’ebanisteria veronese. Le Guin, where for the people she imagined, initiation \nconsists of lying on the ground and feeling the planet turn.\n \nThis phrase resonates because it encompasses many \nthings: for us, sometimes, the desire for silence, for stillness; but \nalso the desire to connect to the earth. Touch to be present and \nto understand. I was reminded of the material these furnishings \nare made of: wool, wood, and stone. The wool is the very fine \nwool of Cloth Ermenegildo Zegna, used to upholster Carpanese \nHome padded furniture.
