Unire il comfort di superfici morbide
e arrotondate all’eleganza delle
lavorazioni di selleria ha portato il
progetto Opus ad una sintesi naturale
e spontanea. La sfera è la forma
dominante, sia delle parti rigide che
di quelle morbide, tradotte dalla
maestria artigiana nel linguaggio
della tappezzeria. Le parti rigide
sono completamente celate da
rivestimenti in pelle, con l’alternanza
di superfici lisce e ricamate a pattern
“v”, che trasmettono la firma tattile
del bassorilievo. La pelle antimacchia
Glitch riveste il guscio esterno ed
è abbinata internamente al tessuto
Macy. Le gambe in legno, anch’esse
rivestite in pelle, accolgono la scocca
dalla forma arrotondata, lavorata
e trattata a mano per una finitura
monomaterica.
Combining the comfort of soft,
rounded surfaces with the elegance
of fine leather craftsmanship, the
Opus project achieves a natural
and effortless synthesis. The sphere
is the dominant shape, present
in both rigid and soft elements,
skillfully translated into the language
of upholstery. The rigid parts are
entirely concealed by leather
coverings, alternating between
smooth surfaces and embroidered
“v” pattern textures, creating a tactile
bas-relief effect. The stain-resistant
Glitch leather wraps the outer shell,
while the interior is lined with Macy
fabric. The wooden legs, also covered
in leather, support the rounded shell,
which is handcrafted and finished to
achieve a seamless, monomaterial
aesthetic.
