FAT WORK
1.
Great storytelling: FAT WORK was inspired
by Tom taking home an office chair during
Covid, which lasted only two days because
he didn’t like its aesthetic and it didn’t fit
into his domestic interior environment. This
dissatisfaction prompted him to design his
own perfect home office chair, thus giving
birth to FAT WORK.
2.
Wheels!: First time we’re putting wheels
on our furniture. Furniture is a very static
field, so it’s nice to be able to think about
movement.
3.
Premium craftmanship: Upholstered
by highly experienced craftsmen in our
factory in Europe, ensuring high-quality
hand finishes. The five-star base is
made in a factory with ISO 9001 and ISO
14001 certification, ensuring quality and
environmental management in production.
4.
Supreme Comfort: Designed with plushness
and domesticity to provide exceptional
comfort throughout long working hours.
5.
Aesthetic Appeal: A statement piece that
rejects clinical and technological looks
in favour of softer, more comfortable
aesthetics.
6.
Versatile Use: Ideal for conference rooms,
breakout spaces, home offices, and modern
dining areas. Suitable for contract and
residential use.
7.
Posture and Poise: Engineered to support great
posture, making it an excellent candidate
for any workspace. Amazing lumbar support.
Occasional use where comfortable chairs are
needed. Everyone needs wheels to get out of
their seat more effectively. This chair’s backrest
gives you lots of different seating positions.
8.
Considered Finishes: Available in all Collection
fabrics and a wide range of Tailormade fabrics,
catering to both contract and consumer
markets.
9.
Hybrid Functionality: Perfectly suited for both
home offices and professional environments,
adapting to hybrid work and pleasure needs.
10.
Height Adjustable: Simple up-and-down gas-
lift mechanism that meets industry standards,
ensuring ergonomic support.
11.
Swivel and Roll: Equipped with a five-star base
featuring free-rolling hard wheel casters for
easy mobility.
‘The new blurred landscape that we now inhabit of hybrid work and pleasure demands
furnishings that match our increasingly flexible and unpredictable lifestyles. Fat Work
is a response to these recent readjustments where home has been redefined as a
place to work, to zoom and to learn. Where workplaces seek to reject a clinical and
technological environment in favour of softer aesthetics and comfort.
We wanted to create a chair stripped of engineered aesthetics, with increased
plushness and domesticity and so we developed Fat Work. A chair for conference
rooms and breakout spaces, home offices or modern dining, that swivels and rolls and
lifts with great posture and poise. We think Fat Work is the perfect candidate for this
job description.’
