Everything is designed to last and be safe. The link between the object and its context reinforces a key value: the affection of those
who use it. RODA invests in and conducts research on ageing, seeking to scrutinise the future and understand how the materials
used in its furniture react to atmospheric agents and the passing of time: not to prevent or alter, but to anticipate and re-educate
the taste for what is worn, lived in, belonged to us, and therefore uniquely ours. The ageing wood and fading colours are traces of
time that do not detract from the value of the design: they enrich it, preserving authenticity and memory.
