The bed surface sits atop a metal
structure fi nely upholstered in saddle
leather or leather, like the sofa seats.
Once again the feet are positioned in
from the corners and, even higher than
in the sofa, intensify the sense that the
volumes are fl oating suspended. The
headboard structure is in solid poplar
and birch plywood with polyurethane
foam padding and a goose down
cushion. The sides and footboard in
die-cast aluminium, while the corners
and feet in moulded aluminium with
ruthenium fi nish. The bed surfaces are
in birch plywood.

and the same lightness of design.
The headboard is like a large, soft
pillow, embellished with simple central
stitching and elaborate edges.
