Their cooperation started with Pershing P72 yacht
since 2005, where Poltrona Frau worked directly
with the shipyard’s engineers and designers for the
creation of a bespoke seating for the pilot house,
and then evolved with the design of seats also for
two important brand of the group including Ferretti
and Wally.
This is not a customization process, like for the
rest of the yacht’s interiors; the pilot seating and
the entire bridge area require specific engineering
know-how that are blended with the design
expertise that Poltrona Frau has gained in over 100
years in seat-design. Seating but not just seating,

part of the pilot house, from the structure to the
upholstery, to the customization of every detail like
the armrests where the joystick is housed.
