The sofa’s iconic tub structure and legs
remain unchanged. However, the inner
cushioning has been plumped up to
be much more generous and inviting:
the backrest cushions have also been
increased in size and padding to
provide lumbar support and depth for
a head rest. The seat cushioning is also
more robust, with an elegant seam
accentuated by top stitching which, in
addition being easy-on-the-eye, also
helps to retain the sofa’s shape.
The innovative design is enhanced
by the new upholstery which, on
the structural parts (base, sides and
backrest) can also be selected in the
brand-new Pelle Frau® Motif Knits in
four different colours: Deep Lavender,
Sesame, Gray Salt, Paprika. This
nubuck leather is heat-embossed to
replicate a twill weave pattern, and
the striking three-dimensional tactile
and visual effect creates a beautiful
play of contrasts with the cushions
in smooth glossy leather or fabric.
