Like traditional Poltrona Frau pieces,
the seat, made in seasoned beech
wood, is sprung with hand-tied steel
biconical springs fastened to jute
belts. The frame of the back and the
padding of the seat, in line with the
very latest technology, are in moulded
polyurethane foam.
The upholstery is embellished with
a leather or gros-grain border piping.
Alongside the version in Pelle Frau®
leather on the outside and fabric
on the inside, the armchair can be
completely upholstered in Pelle Frau®
leather. Aida is available in a fixed or
swivel version.
Aida, with its soft and graceful
design, evokes the corolla of a flower.
The arms open and curve outwards
like petals. The armchair blends
traditional production techniques
with up-to-date materials
and effects.
