The frame of the Ferdinandea bed with
storage unit is made of poplar plywood
with light polyurethane foam padding
upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather
and delicate matching tone-on-tone
stitching. The cylindrical feet are in
black painted metal. The support
surface of the storage compartment
is made with raw chipboard panels,
laminated with a melamine decorative
fi nish that imitates the "Linen" eff ect
in the color Ecru on both sides, and
with an edge matching the decorative
fi nish. The lifting mechanism to access
the storage unit requires a single
opening movement through two
leather handles, positioned on the
side of the footboard, which lifts the
top to the classic tilted position with
a gas spring mechanism. The lifting
system supports a 170x200cm, up to
45 kg mattress. The Ferdinandea bed
with storage unit can be combined
with a coordinated soft headboard
upholstered in leather, an epitome
of the excellent craftsmanship that
identifi es all Poltrona Frau products
and guarantees maximum comfort.
The headboard is available in two
versions, with either a vertical or
horizontal geometric design, and tone-
on-tone padding stitching.
