Il progetto riguardante gli spazi pubblici e l’ingresso
principale delle torri W Prime iniziò come una vera e
propria esperienza emozionale e sensuale.
Ancor prima di definire le forme, le composizioni
e i colori, l’obiettivo prefissato era quello di offrire
al visitatore un’esperienza forte e unica nell’istante
stesso in cui varca la soglia dell’edificio. Si è
deciso di porre l’attenzione sulla parte centrale
della struttura donando un senso di morbidezza e
sofficità ottenuto grazie alle mattonelle in cemento
che trasmettono l’effetto di leggeri e pregiati fogli di
seta stropicciata come fossero parte di un enorme
iceberg ghiacciato. Lo sguardo si posa velocemente
sul bancone della reception che offre curve soffici e
sensuali. L’intero edificio è circondato da salottini e
poltroncine molto invitanti che invogliano gli ospiti
a provarle. L’esperienza emozionale vissuta dal
visitatore è quindi continua e lo coinvolge in ogni
occasione: all’interno degli ascensori come nelle
singole abitazioni.
La costruzione include un’ampia scelta di spazi e
funzionalità differenti che grazie al sofisticato uso
di forme e materiali è stato possibile racchiudere
in un’unica e completa creazione.
The project concerning public spaces and the main
entrance of the W Prime towers began as a real and
actual emotional and sensual experience.
Even before defining the shapes, the compositions
and the colors, the established aim was to offer the
visitors a strong and unique experience in the very
same moment in which they cross the threshold of
the building. It was decided to focus on the central
part of the structure providing a sense of smoothness
and softness obtained thanks to the concrete
tiles that transmit the effect of light and precious
crumpled silk sheets as if they were part of a huge
iceberg. The gaze quickly settles on the reception
desk featuring soft and sensual curves. The whole
building is surrounded by very inviting sitting rooms
and armchairs that invite guests to try them out. The
emotional experience experienced by the visitors
is therefore continuous and involves them in every
occasion: inside the elevators as well as in the single
dwelling units.
The construction includes a wide choice of different
spaces and functionalities, which could be enclosed
in a single and complete creation thanks to the
sophisticated use of shapes and materials.
