2023, Loveland riprende e rinnova il
sistema di sedute imbottite Lowland
con un approccio che ripensa un
prodotto storico valorizzandone le
qualità evergreen. Una nuova versione,
elegantemente coerente al principio
progettuale originario, caratterizzata da
una seduta molto morbida e confortevole
e dalla presenza, in sostituzione delle
basi in tubolare di acciaio, di basamenti
in frassino massello posizionati in modo
asimmetrico rispetto al perimetro di
seduta. Una scelta che nobilita le qualità
architettoniche del sistema, senza
rinunciare, sia nel singolo divano che
nella composizione, alle qualità estetiche
di sofisticata memoria razionalista.
Designed by Patricia Urquiola in
2023, Loveland revives and updates
the Lowland seating system with an
approach that reimagines an iconic
product and reinforces evergreen
qualities. A new version with an elegant
coherence that remains faithful to the
principles of the original design brief,
with wonderfully soft and comfortable
seats and tubular steel runners with solid
ash bases positioned asymmetrically to
the edges of the seat. The new design
choices enhance the architectural
qualities of the series while maintaining
the sophisticated rationalist mood of
this sofa, as a stand-alone piece or in a
composition.
