Architetto e designer franco-libanese,
è fondatrice di AKK Architects, studio con sedi
a Parigi, Beirut, Dubai e Londra. Attraverso l’unione
di tecnologie innovative e collaborazioni con
artigiani che portano nei progetti le loro tradizioni
secolari, AKK Architects crea importanti strutture
architettoniche contraddistinte da un linguaggio
multiculturale, espresso attraverso differenti livelli
di intervento che trovano nella selezione dei motivi
decorativi, dei materiali e nella gestione della luce
gli elementi stilistici predominanti.

Considerato tra gli architetti italiani di
maggior rilevanza internazionale, dal 1985, con
la fondazione del movimento culturale Bolidismo
e l’adesione al gruppo Memphis di Ettore Sottsass,
è protagonista delle avanguardie dell’architettura
e del design. Multidisciplinare, si occupa di
progettazione di spazi architettonici residenziali,
commerciali e museali, progettazione di aree
e strutture dedicate al trasporto pubblico, oltre
al design di catene retail. Molti suoi lavori sono
parte di musei e collezioni private internazionali
e hanno ricevuto riconoscimenti e menzioni, tra cui
il Roscoe Award, USA, il Compasso D’Oro ADI,
il Good Design Award del Chicago Athenaeum,
l’IAI AWARD Green Design Global Award e l’
IAI Awards, Shanghai, China, l’iF Product Design
Award e il Red Dot Award, Germania.
Considered to be one of the most influential
Italian architects in the world, he has been at
the vanguard of architecture and design since
1985, when he founded the Bolidismo movement
and joined Ettore Sottsass’ Memphis group.
His multidisciplinary approach encompasses the
architectural design of residential, commercial
and museum spaces, the design of areas and
structures for public transport, as well as chain
stores. Many of his works are part of museums
and private collections around the world, and
have received numerous recognitions and awards,
such as the Roscoe Award, USA, the Compasso
d’Oro ADI, the Good Design Award of the Chicago
Athenaeum, the IAI AWARD Green Design Global
Award and the IAI Awards, Shanghai, China, the
iF Product Design Award and the Red Dot Award,
