(Very good).Theybroadcasthousemusicin
theexhibitionspace,anditisundeniable:
music,especiallydiscomusic,makesmany
visitorshappy;especiallytheyoungervisitors,
theartist’scontemporaries,his‘colleagues’
andclosefriends.Bravissimi wascreatedpri-
marilyoutofadesiretoparticipateinthe
eventsoftheworld,withapparentnoncha-
lanceandamusement,awkwardlyconcealing
thesincereperformanceanxietythatconno-
tesadolescence,ortheearlyoutputofanar-
tistintheartworld.Agudioinfactconceives
theworkasappropriate,or‘giusta’(right)
hesays—notetheexpressivenessoftheslang
term—inthecontextofanyexhibition.For-
mally,thesheetsofPlexiglasseemvaguely
minimalist(theyleanagainstthewalllike
theplanks ofJohnMcCracken),andembed-
dingthetwospeakersisawinktothe‘neo-
materiality’ofpost-internetwork.Theimage

revealsagenerationalsensitivitytowarddy-
