and better comprehend reciprocal langua-
ges. Fundamentally this is what always hap-
pens, whether between music and theater,
art and architecture, architecture and de-
sign, or design and art, and only through
this multiple approach will something new
and perpetually metamorphic be created. I
believe bringing design and art together can
be surprising, and open unexplored roads
that are challenging and valuable to eve-
ryone. In my personal experience the cu-
rious natures of designers and artists are
absolutely reciprocal and often lead to in-
cursions of one field into the other that are
always worthy of interest and often are re-
sponsible for a fruitful grafting of languages.
The spirit with which MOROSO has decided
to fund this important exhibition is to sup-
port new art forms, regardless of promotio-
nal or advertising aspects that could tie the
CONCEPT to its product. The two forms of
expression are clearly separated and must
remain so just to keep those characteristics
of total independence from the initiative of
the brand that is and will be, like other Ita-
lian and foreign experiences, one of its ori-
ginal values. The passion of MOROSO for
contemporary art has become a real feature
of the company, through continuous rese-
arch and experimentation in the creation
of new products, and the ability of the brand
to create 'custom made' projects. For years,
the company has collaborated with the most
prestigious cultural institutions in the world
such as the MoMA in New York, the Palais de
Tokyo and Grand Palais in Paris, the Inter-
national Biennial of Visual Arts in Venice,
and with international artists including Ma-
rina Abramovic´ (Art Basel Miami 2014) and
Paola Pivi (Manifesta 2014).
In this context we have begun a new rela-
tionship of respect and partnership between
MOROSO and the Azienda Speciale Villa Ma-
nin of Passariano, and also have been favo-
red with the special participation of Andrea
Bruciati, who had the idea to form this col-
laboration at the beginning of the project,
unique in Italy for its particular focus. Per-
sonally I would like to thank all those who
helped or contributed to this project, from
its initial conception through development
and inauguration, and I hope all the parti-
cipating artists are animated by the same
passion that inspired it, and look forward
to a great future.
