Salon Nanà evoca le atmosfere conviviali
tipiche della fine dell’Ottocento, sottile rimando
letterario al libro “Nana” di Emile Zola, mescolato
a ricordi e reminiscenze del Libano nella sua età
dell’oro - az-zaman al-jamil - ovvero gli anni ’50
e ’60 del Novecento. Il divano combina una
silhouette generosa e il comfort dei grandi
cuscini in piuma con un “Mezze”, un materasso
da conversazione tradizionalmente utilizzato
nelle sedute majlis, un grande tavolo quadrato
e i due tavolini Not a harem.
Salon Nanà evokes the convivial
atmosphere typical of the late 19th century,
a subtle literary reference to the book “Nana”
by Emile Zola, mixed with memories and
reminiscences of Lebanon in its golden age
- az-zaman al-jamil - that is, the 1950s and 1960s.
The sofa combines a generous silhouette and the
comfort of large feather cushions with a “Mezze,”
a conversation mattress traditionally used in
majlis seating, a large square table and the two
Not harem tables.
