Ci sono milioni di uffici nel mondo. Ma quanti
sono quelli progettati e pensati dalle donne?
L’uno per cento? Il 2%?
Eppure le donne sono oltre la metà del
genere umano e anche una bella metà delle
persone che abitano gli uffici delle società
contemporanee evolute.
Gli uffici non sono soltanto dei posti di
lavoro. Sono le architetture di interni, gli
spazi abitati, i luoghi di riunione e condivi-
sione, nei quali passiamo la maggior parte
del nostro tempo da svegli!
Quindi l’ufficio non può essere solo – lavoro
– maschile – produzione. Ma deve essere
anche – vita – femminile – comunicazione.
Manerba agisce per favorire un incontro
armonico e complementare fra i componenti
maschile e femminile, neutro e colorato,
pratico ed emozionante, veloce e accurato.
Da 10 anni Manerba è guidata da due donne
coraggiose e competenti. Due sorelle che
hanno preso in mano l’azienda di famiglia,
fondata a Mantova dai genitori negli anni’ 70.
Elisa Manerba, laureata in Lingue e Lettera-
ture Straniere, è Amministratore Delegato e
Direttore Commerciale Italia-Estero. Grazia
Manerba, ingegnere, è Amministratore Dele-
gato, Direttore Produzione e Ufficio Progetti.
I prodotti, disegnati e aggiornati con la colla-
borazione di noti progettisti, sono stati riletti
nel corso degli ultimi quattro anni dal punto
di vista dei materiali, colori e finiture dall’ar-
chitetto e designer Raffaella Mangiarotti.
Un progetto soft, nato dall’idea di rinnovare
l’estetica dell’ufficio intervenendo su colori
e finiture, muovendosi dal rigorosamente
Office ad un ufficio più umano, domestico e
con una punta di femminilità.

There are millions of offices around the world.
But how many are planned and designed by
women? One per cent? 2%?
Yet women are more than half of mankind
and also a good half of the people who actu-
ally man the offices of advanced contempo-
rary companies.
Offices are not just places where people
work. They are interior architecture, living
areas, places for meeting and sharing, where
we spend most of our time awake!
So offices cannot just be – work – mascu-
line – production – But must also be – life
– feminine – communication – Manerba acts
to facilitate a smooth and complementary
encounter between masculine and feminine
components, neutral and colourful, practical
and exciting, fast and accurate.
For 10 years Manerba has been led by two
courageous and competent women. Two
sisters who have taken over the family busi-
ness, founded in Mantua by their parents in the
70’s. Elisa Manerba, economist, who manages
the marketing and sales departments. Grazia
Manerba, engineer, who manages the tech-
nical department and production.
The products, designed in collaboration with
architects and designers, have been revised
over the last four years in terms of materials,
colours and finishes by the architect and
university professor Raffaella Mangiarotti.
A soft project, born from the idea of renewing
office aesthetics by intervening on colours
and finishes. Moving from strictly Office to
a more human, domestic office, with a touch
of femininity.
