Linea Light Group introduces Environment Care Lighting, a technology developed in collaboration
with the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow which, thanks to a wavelength of light of 405 nm,
sanitises surfaces, preventing the onset of infections, guaranteeing renewed wellbeing in the
environment in which it is used and reducing the bacterial load by up to 70%. It was found that after
a 10-hour test, the reduction of the bacterial load already reaches 35%.
Environment Care Lighting involves the use of a blue-dominant LED source combined with a white
powerLED, thus achieving a dual functionality: lighting and disinfecting the environment at the
same time. The use of high colour rendering LEDs makes it possible to illuminate the room by
emphasising colours and surfaces.
