As with many successful lamps –
Havana is part of the permanent collection
of the MoMA in New York – several series
have joined it since.
Over the years, the fi rst version in
custard yellow is joined by a white version
with a mother-of-pearl effect, which is still
in production, in the fl oor, suspension and
wall lamp version.
In 2002, to celebrate its ten-year
anniversary, a version was produced with a
transparent matt diffuser which reveals the
skeleton and the bulb combined with a
chrome mount; this version was
discontinued in 2014, together with the
custard yellow version.
In 2005, the outdoor version for terraces
or gardens (Havana Outdoor) was launched,
with the same dimensions as the indoor
diffuser. In this case the body is made of
rotational polyethylene and has grooves to
simulate the separation of the diffuser
elements that distinguishes the original
design.
