Foscarini
A graduate in Industrial Design from the European Institute
of Design in Milan. He worked in London in the studios
founded by Sebastian Bergne and Ross Lovegrove. On his
return to Milan, he collaborated with the most famous
Italian and international design companies, such as Vitra,
Kartell and Alessi. Since 2020 he has been the creative
director of Acerbis with the Spaniard David Lopez
Quincoces. With his father Alberto Meda, he won a
Compasso d’Oro award for the Flap soundproofi ng panel by
Caimi Brevetti. For Foscarini, he designed the Bridge table
lamp and, together with his father, the Chiaroscura lamp.

Having spent some time in Italy, he moved to France.
He is a multi-faceted architect and artist who lives and
works in Paris. His activity ranges from architecture to
design, from theatre and television sets to home décor,
from textile to industrial design. He designs for brands
the likes of Hermès, Bernardaud, Sawaya&Moroni,
Barovier&Toso, Cartier or Saint-Gobain Glass.
His works and collections in Murano glass and porcelain
are exhibited in museums (Centre Pompidou, Corning
Museum of Glass New York) and in international art
galleries. He designed the original Ramon and Lucindo
glass suspension lamps.
An Architecture graduate from Milan, he is one of the
founders of the Solid Group. His professional activity
continued with the collaboration with Michele De
Lucchi, with whom he worked on important projects
and is currently the managing director of studio ADML
CIRCLE. Alongside his work as an architect, he has a
passion for art and sculpture. He designed the Cielo
suspension lamp.
Biographies
An Argentinian architect, he graduated in industrial design
at the Royal College of Arts in London. His professional
activities focus particularly on the management of
outfi tting projects, trade fairs and exhibitions, for Italian
and foreign customers operating in the fashion and
furniture industries. He designed the small Shelly table
lamp in 1991.

Creative agency founded by Marco De Santi and
Alessandro Paoletti, two professional fi gures (industrial
and graphic designers) backed by experience ranging
from the exhibition outfi tting, to product design, via
graphic communication and the web. Different areas
linked by a single matrix: designing is the application of
a creative process. They designed the Cri Cri portable
battery lamp.
Oki Sato was born in Toronto, Canada. In Tokyo, after
graduating in architecture from Waseda University, he
founded Studio Nendo, a Japanese term meaning ‘clay’
and expressing the plastic and sculptural appeal of his
way of designing. Through projects that belong to a
plethora of worlds – from architecture, to furnishings,
industrial design and graphic art – the studio has obtained
major acknowledgements and international accolades in
just a few years. He designed the Kurage table lamp with
Luca Nichetto.
