Biographies
Design studio headquartered in Oslo, founded by Torbjørn
Anderssen and Espen Voll. Their work ranges from
furniture, lighting, household accessories and textile
design for some of Europe’s most renowned international
brands. The two designers share the desire to sustain the
Scandinavian design tradition while breaking its rules with
elements of surprise. They designed the Yoko table lamp.

Gabriele and Oscar Buratti
Her career started off as a fashion designer and she later
studied architecture at the Glasgow School of Arts.
Her design philosophy derives from her experience as a
seamstress and her expertise in creating 3D shapes with
fabrics based on the Nordic tradition. Her sound-absor-
bing wall panel Klipper for Caimi Brevetti clinched her the
Compasso d’Oro award in 2022. The Pli suspension lamp
constitutes her début in the world of lighting.
They make up the Buratti Architetti architecture and
design studio who work across all disciplines, from
building architecture and urban areas to the interior
design of domestic settings and commercial premises,
furniture and object design to outfi tting exhibitions and
showrooms. They boast a number of collaborations
with major companies in the furniture industry (such as
B&B Italia, Flexform, FontanaArte, Moroso, Poltrona
Frau) and well-known brands (La Perla, Automobili
Lamborghini, Pagani Automobili, Oroblù, Acerbis).
They designed Anoor for Foscarini.

For years, he has supplemented his job as an architect
with that of industrial designer, in the lighting industry
in particular. He has designed many models since the 90s,
some of which are still in the catalogue today: Mistral,
Sphera, Double, Vitt, Cross, Totem, Bubble, Tutù, Spring,
Affix. He works with the University of Padua
in the search for new solutions for the lighting industry.

Calvi Brambilla
He trained at the Eindhoven Design Academy and at
the Royal College of Art in London, where he set up his
own studio. His work is inspired by nature, materials,
decoration and technology. He has an experimental
approach which has led him to range from industrial
production to unique pieces. Sun–Light of Love is his
contribution to reinventing space in lighting.
Fabio Calvi and Paolo Brambilla, two architects, set up
the Calvi Brambilla fi rm in Milan. Their work ranges from
architecture, to interiors, furniture design and lighting.
They designed Superfi cie, a wall lamp with an impressive
geometry, a tribute to Italian avant-garde artists.
