L’intreccio, tema particolarmente caro a Flexform e che ha ispirato
in passato numerosi prodotti della collezione indoor, è il motivo
caratterizzante del sistema di sedute Vulcano.
I temi cardine della flessibilità sul piano compositivo e di un’elevata
possibilità di personalizzazione, uniti ad un’appassionata ricerca sui
materiali che garantiscono elevate performance in ambienti outdoor,
sono alla base del progetto del divano Vulcano.
La base del divano è realizzata in multistrato marino mentre la struttura
di braccioli e schienali è in acciaio inossidabile austenitico 316, una
superlega in grado di garantire elevate prestazioni in outdoor ed è
rivestita da un sofisticato intreccio in fibra di polipropilene o in gomma
poliuretanica proposto in una raffinata palette cromatica che spazia dai
toni naturali al bordeaux e al verde oliva.
Il divano appoggia su un telaio perimetrale in acciaio austenitico 316 e
gommini in nylon.
Per garantire prestazioni ottimali en plein air, tutte le imbottiture delle
cuscinature sono rivestite da speciali fodere in tessuto idrorepellente
traspirante mentre l’ampia collezione di proposte tessili garantisce
un’eccellente resistenza non solo all’azione degli agenti atmosferici e
dei raggi UV, ma anche al cloro ed alla salsedine.
È vivamente consigliato l’uso delle apposite fodere per mantenere i
divani Vulcano in buone condizioni e preservare il più possibile il loro
stato originale.
The woven pattern especially dear to Flexform has inspired many
products in the indoor collection, and it is now the distinctive motif in the
Vulcano seating system.
Features that are part of its DNA, like compositional flexibility and a high
degree of customization, coupled with a determination to find just the
right materials to ensure optimum performance outdoors, form the core
design elements of the Vulcano sofa.
The sofa base is made of marine plywood, while the armrest and
backrest structures are in austenitic stainless steel 316, a super alloy
that ensures superior performance in outdoor settings. The woven
upholstery is made of polypropylene fiber or polyurethane rubber and
comes in a sophisticated palette of colors that range from earth tones
to bordeaux and olive green.
The sofa sits on a perimeter frame in austenitic stainless steel 316 and
nylon pads.
To ensure optimal outdoor performance, all the padded cushions are
encased in a special lining material made of breathable water-repellent
fabric, while the vast collection of outdoor upholstery fabrics guarantees
excellent resistance not only to the effects of weather and the sun but
also to chlorine and salt water.
It is strongly advised that the respective covers be used to keep the
Vulcano sofas in top condition and prolong their original beauty as much
as possible.
