The Airframe bookcase celebrates the art of hammered
metal, highlighting the savoir-faire and artisan virtuosity
that define De Castelli. Its aerodynamic shape outlines
a fine metal structure made of asymmetrical elliptical
loops, supporting four discontinuous horizontal shelves.
The outer shell is composed of a partial covering that
has been expertly shaped to the structure.
Micro architecture that makes any space more refined,
adding a dramatic element to interiors.
La libreria Airframe celebra l’arte della battitura del metallo,
esaltando la cultura del saper fare e l’artigianalità.
Il design aerodinamico della libreria delinea una sottile
struttura metallica di anelli ellittici asimmetrici sulla
quale si innestano quattro piani orizzontali non continui,
mentre l’involucro è definito da un parziale rivestimento
sapientemente modellato sulla struttura. Una micro-
architettura che rende prezioso lo spazio, creando una
forte presenza scenica nell’interior.
