Lines, engravings, wiry signs mark metal surfaces to tell
about old stories. Scratching not only defines the use
of an object, but it becomes a way of materially fixing
the metaphors of life. Imperfections become memories,
enhancing the pure essence of materials. The marks
impressed on the cabinet doors are the preview of
a story that has not been revealed yet.
Tracce, solchi, segni filiformi rigano la superficie del
metallo raccontandone il passato attraverso il disegno
di intrecci casuali: dalla suggestione del graffio, abituale
indicatore di utilizzo intensivo di un oggetto, nasce l’idea
di incidere nuove trame come metafora di vita vissuta.
Le imperfezioni diventano memoria, esaltando l’essenza
della materia. I segni depositati sulle ante della madia
sono l’anticipazione di una storia ancora da condividere.
