Frame

Frame is a mirror wrapped in a deep metal frame.
Drawing close is unavoidable for those who look
in the mirror, enabling them to observe their image
from closer up. Ever the provocateur, Frame doesn’t
allow us to settle for the surface, advising, in some way,
introspection and awareness. Almost as if to convey the
impermanence of the image reflected, this object
is meant to be affixed to the wall in an inclined position.
Frame è uno specchio racchiuso in una cornice in metallo
molto profonda. Inevitabile per chi si specchia
è avvicinarsi al vetro riflettente, per osservare l’immagine
più da vicino. Frame è un oggetto provocatorio, che
non permette a chi si guarda di accontentarsi della
superficie, consigliando in un certo modo introspezione
e consapevolezza. Viene fissato a parete in posizione
inclinata, quasi a voler comunicare la provvisorietà
dell’immagine riflessa.
