Slightly oversized proportions and an intentionally
asymmetrical border (compared to the reflective
surface) define this decorative mirror as it seduces and
attracts. But the sense of yearning is transformed soon
into an aura of intimacy for the person reflected in it.
The bold metal frame envelops as it inspires introspection,
suggested by its concavity, its many tones of oxidation,
and the juxtaposed reflections that give rise to different
potential interpretations.
La forma e il volume esasperati, intenzionalmente
asimmetrici rispetto alla superficie riflettente,
definiscono uno specchio decorativo che seduce
e attira. Ma la bramosia si trasforma ben presto in un’aura
di intimità per chi si specchia. L’importante cornice
in metallo avvolge e invita all’introspezione suggerita
dalla concavità, dai molteplici toni di ossidazione
e dai giochi di riflessi che stimolano diverse possibilità
