You always can find something similiar but is it \nour job to make it better and more attractive than the others. We take \npride in creating collections that are unique and unexpected, which \nwas the case with some of our most recent \ncollections – RAW, GEM, HEARTS.\nIs inspiration just imitation?\nNot only in art, but in all specializations you can find something similar \nto your product if you look hard enough. Personally, inspiration is a way \nof learning and evolving ideas. If we look at history, somebody invented \nsomething new and future generation’s then take that idea and transform \nit to something new. It is important we don’t forget our past. We’re taught \nnot to repeat the same mistakes, and it’s the same for design. Why should \nI make the same mistake others have made before? I just pick out the \nmeaningful information and inspiration and apply it to my designs. \nInspiration is a combination of the workable techniques and \ntechnology from each period, together with original thought.\nCan hedonism be healthy?\nSome philosophers claim that pleasure is the highest, good and proper \naim of human life. Most of the time the detail is the \nelement which can’t be replaced. It can be functional, decorative, or both. \nIf the designersdo not take into account the details in the first phase, then \nit is difficult for them to get right in the final design. A nice example is our \ncollection HEARTS. Without molded metal caps, the glass shapes would \nappear unfinished. They also have the function of covering the attachment \nwith cables and lighting source.
