È \nconsigliabile versarlo su una spugnetta abrasiva, passarlo sulla zona da trattare \ne sfregare fino a completa rimozione della macchia.\nPer eliminare vernice o smalto, si suggerisce di intervenire prima con una \nlama o una spatola. Quindi, si deve detergere la superficie in quarzite con \ndella candeggina. In alternativa, si può sfregare la zona con del bicarbonato \ndi sodio. Anche l’aceto è un ottimo espediente per pulire la quarzite. The \ntectonic plates forming the Earth’s crust crashed into each other due to the effect \nof underlying incandescent magma, causing them to fold, creating mountains and \nburying sandstone.  The effect of pressure and intense heat dissolved the grains \nof sand in the sandstone, which then recrystallized and fused with cementing \nsilica to form an extremely hard, resistant rock: natural quartzite.This type of \nnatural stone is distinguished for its resistance to scuffs, pollution, acids and erratic \ntemperatures.  Care and maintenance are simple and as it is colour fast, it never \nloses its original attractive appearance.  \nTo clean quartzite, simply wipe the surface with a microfibre cloth dipped in a \nsolution of one spoonful of alcohol to one litre of water. The degreasing action of \nthe alcohol will remove all grime from the quartzite.  Ammonium can be used, in \nthe same proportions, as an alternative.  Use Marseilles soap if the surface is really \ndirty.\nIn the event of greasy stains, we recommend an ordinary degreaser, poured onto \nan abrasive sponge.  Rub the sponge over the area until the stain disappears. To \neliminate paint or varnish, we suggest first of all removing as much as possible \nwith a blade or spatula and then cleaning the quartzite surface with bleach.  \nBaking soda can be used as an alternative. En cas de saleté obstinée, utiliser du savon de Marseille.\nEn cas de taches de gras, on peut la nettoyer avec un produit dégraissant normal. \nIl est conseillé de le verser sur une éponge abrasive, de le passer sur la surface à \ntraiter et de frotter jusqu’à disparition complète de la tache.\nPour éliminer de la peinture ou du vernis, nous vous suggérons d’utiliser en pre-\nmier lieu une lame ou une raclette puis de nettoyer la surface en quartzite avec \nde l’eau de Javel. En alternative, on peut frotter la surface avec du bicarbonate \nde soude. Le vinaigre est aussi un excellent produit pour nettoyer la quartzite.
