Ces deux éléments \ndépendent l’un de l’autre pour \nleur stabilité, dans un rapport \nqui exprime exactement la con-\nstruction architecturale de cha-\nque élément de la collection.  \nChaque élément est constitué de \ndeux “Ren”, qui ensemble com-\nposent la structure principale en \nnoyer Canaletto massif et sou-\ntiennent entre eux les structu-\nres secondaires, elles aussi en \nbois. Les éléments fonctionnels \nqui trouvent place à l’intérieur \ndes structures ont des formes \nplus douces et curvilignes, et \nsont élégamment revêtus de cuir \nCuoio Saddle Extra. Les détails \nen laiton ajoutent au design une \ntouche précieuse. La série des \naccessoires de décoration REN \ns’agrandit. Fin dalle \norigini del linguaggio, questo segno compare \ninciso sugli antichi ossi oracolari cinesi usati \na scopo divinatorio: due semplici tratti in una \nrappresentazione pittografica della fi-\ngura umana. Il tratto più lungo sporge \nleggermente ed è sostenuto da quello \npiù breve. I due elementi dipendono \nl’uno dall’altro per stabilità, in una \nrelazione che esprime esattamente \nla costruzione architettonica di ogni \nelemento della collezione. Ogni pezzo \nconsiste di due “Ren”, che compon-\ngono la struttura principale in legno \nmassello di noce canaletto e sorreg-\ngono tra loro le strutture secondarie, \nanch’esse in legno. Una ricchezza di proposte che \ndefinisce in modo coerente i diversi \nspazi della casa.\nCONCEPT\nThe collection takes the name of the Chi-\nnese “Ren” ideogram, which means person.  \nFrom the birth of the language, this symbol ap-\npeared on ancient Chinese oracle bones used \nfor divination. Two simple strokes constitute \na pictographic representation of the human \nfigure. The longer stroke sticks out slightly \nand is supported by the shorter stroke.  \nThe two elements depend on each other for \ntheir stability, a relationship that perfectly \nrepresents the architectural construction of \neach item in the collection. Each piece consists \nof two “Ren”, which make up the main struc-\nture in Canaletto walnut solid wood and toge-\nther support the secondary structures, also in \nwood. The functional elements that form part \nof the structures have softer and more curved \nforms, which are elegantly upholstered in Cuo-\nio Saddle Extra leather. The brass details add \na precious touch to the design. The series of \nREN accessories has grown. A bookcase, ma-\ngazine rack and table mirror expand the fun-\nctions of the collection. Il piano di \nriposo poggia su una struttura in \nmetallo finemente rivestita in cuo-\nio o pelle, come le sedute del divano.  \nAnche qui i piedi sono arretrati rispet-\nto agli angoli e, ancora più alti che nel \ndivano, accrescono la percezione che i \nvolumi siano sospesi, aerei.\nLa struttura della testata è in massello \ndi pioppo e multistrato di betulla, con \nimbottitura in poliuretano espanso e \ncuscino in piuma d’oca. Sponde e pe-\ndiera realizzati in alluminio da trafila. \nAngoli e piedi in alluminio da stampo \ncon finitura Ruthenium. Piani di riposo \nin multistrato di betulla. \nCONCEPT\nLudovica + Roberto Palomba designed Mr  \nMoonlight with the same philosophy that in-\nspired Let it be. A relaxed and informal style, a \nprofound sensation of comfort and liberty, and \nthe same lightness of design. The headboard \nis like a large, soft pillow, embellished with \nsimple central stitching and elaborate edges. \nThe bed surface sits atop a metal structure \nfinely upholstered in saddle leather or leather, \nlike the sofa seats. Once again the feet are \npositioned in from the corners and, even hi-\ngher than in the sofa, intensify the sense that \nthe volumes are floating suspended.\nThe headboard structure is in solid poplar \nand birch plywood with polyurethane foam \npadding and a goose down cushion. The sides \nand footboard in die-cast aluminium, while \nthe corners and feet in moulded aluminium \nwith ruthenium finish.
