(03 - 04)\nUna cosa ancora bisogna dire del-\nle multiformi mani di Ponti: sono un \nomaggio all’artigianato, alla capa-\ncità con le mani dell’artista, del \nceramista, di animare la materia, \nma anche sintetici simboli dell’u-\nmanità, come le vedete incontran-\ndole nelle copertine della rivista \n“lo Stile” (07 - 08)\nInfine, sono ancora espressione \ndi una concitata discussione nello \nDezza\nLa poltrona Dezza occupa un posto \nparticolare nella storia di Poltrona \nFrau: disegnata da Gio Ponti nel \n1965, è il primo prodotto a rappre-\nsentare il nuovo corso del brand, \nche nel 1962 si era trasferita a To-\nlentino dove ha sede tutt’ora. \nLe linee tipicamente moderniste e \nsquadrate della seduta sono bi-\nlanciate dagli eleganti braccioli \ncurvi che accompagnano tutto il \nprofilo della poltrona fino ai piedi-\nni, conferendo slancio e dinamismo \nall’insieme. Da sempre una delle \nsedute più amate di Poltrona Frau, \nDezza è sempre rimasta in pro-\nduzione e festeggia quest’anno \nil suo sessantesimo anniversario. \nPer celebrare l’evento, Poltrona \nFrau la ripropone in una preziosa \nedizione limitata di soli 60 esem-\nplari numerati e certificati. \nDezza Limited Edition è rivestita in \nPelle Frau® Impact Less, coeren-\ntemente con il progetto di maggio-\nre sostenibilità portato avanti dal \nmarchio fin dal 2022. L’elegante \nabbinamento dei colori Panna e Iris \nrimanda agli interni luminosi e bril-\nlanti che Gio Ponti creò per l’Ho-\ntel Parco dei Principi a Sorrento, \ncon i famosi pavimenti in maiolica \nbianca e blu da lui disegnata. Ma \nla maggiore particolarità di questa \nriedizione risiede nella fantasia \ndel rivestimento: la riproduzione \ndi un’illustrazione finora inedita \ndello stesso Gio Ponti, acquista-\nta all’asta da un privato e scelta \nda Poltrona Frau dopo un lungo e \naccurato lavoro di ricerca. Un de-\nlizioso motivo di 26 mani stilizzate, \nognuna diversa dall’altra e ognuna \ncon il suo nome e la sua caratteri-\nstica. Abbiamo così “la man guan-\ntata”, “la man stellata”, “la man \ntrafitta”, “la man veggente” e così \nvia. Un sofisticato divertissement \nd’autore, che in qualche modo \nevoca anche la maestria artigia-\nnale e “l’intelligenza delle mani” \ncon cui la poltrona stessa viene \ncostruita, uno dei principali valori \ndel marchio Poltrona Frau.\nGio Ponti\nGio Ponti (1891-1979) è stato \nuno degli architetti e designer \nche più hanno segnato la scena \nitaliana del secondo dopoguerra. \nAutore eclettico e versatile, è pas-\nsato dalle suggestioni Art Déco \ne classicheggianti degli inizi al \nRazionalismo e al Movimento Mo-\nderno, spaziando dall’architettura \nall’interior design di case private, \nalberghi e transatlantici, alle ce-\nramiche. Ha disegnato moltissimi \noggetti nei campi più svariati, dalle \nscenografie teatrali, alle lampade, \nalle sedie, ai tessuti, agli oggetti \nda cucina, ed è stato uno dei pro-\nmotori della nascita del Compasso \nd’Oro, tutt’ora il massimo premio \ndi design al mondo.
