After 2000, \neverything became about decoration. The art \ndirection of Jurgen Bey moved Pallucco’s focus \nonto new forms and formal languages.\nAt the same time, the group of designers who \nproduced and experimented with innovative \nsolutions grew larger, leading to the exploration \nof the frontiers of contemporary design with \nfreedom of expression, the authentic signature \nof the Pallucco style. Hannes Wettstein, Jean \nNouvel, Tom Dixon, Jaime Hayón, Christian \nDeuber, Sergio Calatroni, Denis Santachiara, \nKazuhiro Yamanaka, Enrico Franzolini, Lagranja \nDesign, Susanne Philippson, Matalie Crasset, \nConstance Guisset, and Brian Rasmussen created \nexclusive pieces for Pallucco that distinguished \nthe style of a think tank where multicultural \ndesign trends merged to form unique concepts.\nPallucco’s current range is a fusion of \ncontemporary, historical, and timeless objects. \nThe Fortuny Lamp by Mariano Fortuny, a \nmasterpiece of the early twentieth century, best \nrepresents the spirit of Pallucco. Driven by \na passion for art and technology and \nfrom his impulse to investigate and \nimprove the things around him, he \nwould develop more than 300 works of \ndesign in the years that followed. These \nincluded furnishings, lighting, watches, \nindustrial products and architectural \nprojects for international clients and \nbrands. In 2008 Hannes Wettstein died \nin Zurich at the age of 50. His business \npartner, architect and designer Stephan \nHürlemann, continued the Zurich \nagency in accordance with Wettstein’s \nwishes.\nThe agency of Swiss designer Hannes \nWettstein (1958 – 2008) was continued \nafter his death by his business partner \nStephan Hürlemann. Under the name \nof Studio Hannes Wettstein Hürlemann \nand a design collective developed \nfurniture, product and architectural \nprojects for international clients and \nbrands. After Hürlemann emerged as \nthe creative lead at the agency it was \nrenamed Hürlemann in 2016.\nHannes Wettstein è stato uno dei \npiù importanti designer della sua \ngenerazione. Nato nel 1958 ad Ascona, \nsi diploma in disegno architettonico \ne prosegue i suoi studi diventando \ndesigner e architetto. Spinto dalla \npassione per l’arte e la tecnologia, \ne sempre attento ad analizzare e \nmigliorare ciò che lo circonda, ha \nsaputo sviluppare più di 300 progetti, \ntra i quali: mobili, lampade, orologi, \ncomplementi d’arredo e progetti \ndi architettura per clienti e marchi \ninternazionali.
