Da qui \nla volontà di conservare e tramandare.  La scelta \nfu renderlo un blocco unico, rivestito con lastre \ndi gres porcellanato di grande formato, tagliato \nin orizzontale da un piano bianco, che funge da \nporticato e in verticale da un ingresso a tutt’altezza \nche ne segna mirabilmente l’accesso.\nAttraverso tale volume che funge da anticamera, \nsi raggiunge il piano inferiore dove si sviluppa \nl’abitazione in totale simbiosi con il verde.\nIl passaggio dal piano superiore a quello inferiore, \ndove prevalgono grandi vetrate aperte su un \nrigoglioso giardino, suscita una sensazione di \nsorprendente stupore che rappresenta per il \nprogettista l’essenza stessa del fare architettura. \nIncombe, in lontananza, uno spettacolo senza pari il \nmaestoso Vesuvio, icona di Napoli, con la sua storia \ndi eruzioni, lunghe pause e di riprese anche violente \nche hanno profondamente mutato l’originario stato \ndei luoghi vicini e lontani.\nÈ questo il contesto in cui si trova questa splendida \nvilla: una terra di fuoco, ricca di valore e bellezze.\nA land on two levels and a volumetric pre-existence \nare the two key elements of the project of this\nsingle-family villa.\nAt street level, there was an agricultural building,\na small-scale parallelepiped, to which the owners \nwere affectionately linked. Hence the desire to \npreserve it and pass it on. Поэтому они хотели сохранить и \nразвить его. Questo è l’ambiente che, partendo \ndall’architettura classica, l’architetto vuole creare \ndando vita a spazi puri dalle proporzioni maestose\ne tendenzialmente vuote.\nLocated near the Burj al Arab hotel, a magnificent \nsymbolic structure of Dubai and a contemporary \narchitectural icon, the villa was built in the heart of \nPalm Jumeirah, a luxurious artificial island located in \nfront of Dubai.  With its beaches, prestigious hotels, \nluxurious mansions, the island of Palm Jumeirah \nis touched by the waters of the Persian Gulf and \nenjoys sweeping views of the city. Being 5 km long \nand also large, it houses 1400 villas and about 2500 \napartments. Strictly luxurious. \nThe villa, spread over two levels, is characterized by \nthe large windows illuminating all the rooms of the \nhouse. On the upper floor, a cubic structure in natural \nmarble emerges from the main block and rises like a \ntower, deconstructing the regularity of the building as \na whole. Si tratta di un ambizioso \nprogetto di riforestazione metropolitana che \nattraverso la densificazione verticale del verde si \npropone di incrementare la biodiversità vegetale \ne animale del capoluogo lombardo, riducendone \nl’espansione urbana e contribuendo anche alla \nmitigazione del microclima.\nBoeri ebbe l’idea di realizzare un grattacielo rivestito \ndi alberi a Dubai quando ebbe l’impressione di \naggirarsi in una «città minerale, fatta di decine di \nnuove torri e grattacieli, tutti rivestiti di vetro o di \nceramica, tutti riflettenti la luce solare e dunque \ngeneratori di calore nell’aria e soprattutto sul suolo \nabitato dai pedoni». Questa proprietà di 1.8 ettari è situata vicino \nalla stazione e alle scuole della città. I confratelli \ndecisero di realizzarvi un progetto innovativo e \naperto al mondo esterno (al contrario dei principi dei \nmonasteri chiusi).\nIl progetto comprende 490 camere per studenti, degli \nappartamenti, dei luoghi di preghiera per preti, degli \nalloggi per i senzatetto, degli ateliers, dei negozi, un \ncentro di formazione e uno per le celebrazioni. Il tutto \norganizzato lungo una nuova via pubblica pedonale \ncircondata da parchi e aree verdi.\nIl cuore del sito, dov’è situato il centro di formazione, \nè concepito in una maniera innovativa. Non si tratta \nsolo di una chiesa ma di uno spazio d’incontro. Una \nterrazza e una caffetteria accolgono i visitatori mentre \naltre sale riunioni completano il centro educativo. In \nquesto quadro, la visibilità e la leggibilità diventano \nessenziali sia da un punto di vista del sito che da \nquello dell’edificio. Lo spazio dedicato alle celebrazioni \nè considerato, dagli stessi sacerdoti, la perla del \nprogetto. Questa immagine è stata concretizzata \ngrazie a un rivestimento particolare di piastrelle \nin ceramica dai riflessi perlati e mutevoli. \nQuesto rivestimento ininterrotto segnala il volume \ndella chiesa e continua sull’accesso fino allo spazio \ninterno dedicato alle celebrazioni.\nL’arredamento, elegante, di design ma allo stesso \ntempo funzionale e pratico trova un punto d’incontro \ntra vincoli estetici e tecnici.\nThe site of the Redemptorist priests of Ghent was \ninitially made up of a monastery, a church and large \nlands. This 1.8-hectare property is located near the city’s \ntrain station and schools. The confreres decided to \nrealize an innovative project open to the outside world \n(as opposed to the principles of closed monasteries).\nThe project includes 490 rooms for students, \napartments, places of prayer for priests, housing for \nhomeless people, ateliers, shops, a training center \nand one for celebrations. All is organized along a new \npedestrian public street surrounded by parks and \ngreen areas. The heart of the site, where the training \ncenter is located, is designed in an innovative way. \nIt is not just a church but a meeting space. A terrace \nand a cafeteria welcome visitors while other meeting \nrooms complete the educational center. In this context, \nvisibility and readability become essential from both \nthe site and building point of view. The space dedicated \nto celebrations is considered, by the same priests, the \ngem of the project. This image was realized thanks to \na particular coating made of ceramic tiles with pearly \nand changeable reflections. Этот комплекс площадью 1,8 га \nрасположен возле городского железнодорожного \nвокзала и школ. Сотоварищи решили реализовать \nинновационный проект, открытый для внешнего \nмира (в отличие от принципа закрытых монастырей).\nПроект включает в себя 490 помещений для \nстудентов, апартаменты, молитвенные места \nдля священников, жилье для бездомных, ателье, \nмагазины, обучающий центр и зал для торжеств.\nВсе это организовано вдоль новой пешеходной \nулицы, окруженной парками и зелеными зонами. \nЦентр места, где расположен обучающий центр, \nспроектирован в инновационном стиле. Это не \nпросто церковь, это – место встреч. Терраса и \nкафетерий встречают посетителей, а конференц-\nзалы дополняют образовательный центр.\nВ этой связи хорошая обзорность и читаемость \nвыходят на передний план как с точки зрения \nместа, так и с точки зрения здания. Пространство \nдля торжеств священники считают жемчужиной \nвсего проекта. Визуальная составляющая была \nреализована с помощью особого покрытия \nиз керамической плитки с перламутровыми и \nпереливающимися отражениями. L’esperienza emozionale vissuta dal \nvisitatore è quindi continua e lo coinvolge in ogni \noccasione: all’interno degli ascensori come nelle \nsingole abitazioni.\nLa costruzione include un’ampia scelta di spazi e \nfunzionalità differenti che grazie al sofisticato uso\ndi forme e materiali è stato possibile racchiudere\nin un’unica e completa creazione.\nThe project concerning public spaces and the main \nentrance of the W Prime towers began as a real and \nactual emotional and sensual experience.\nEven before defining the shapes, the compositions \nand the colors, the established aim was to offer the \nvisitors a strong and unique experience in the very \nsame moment in which they cross the threshold of \nthe building. It was decided to focus on the central \npart of the structure providing a sense of smoothness \nand softness obtained thanks to the concrete \ntiles that transmit the effect of light and precious \ncrumpled silk sheets as if they were part of a huge \niceberg. The gaze quickly settles on the reception \ndesk featuring soft and sensual curves. The whole \nbuilding is surrounded by very inviting sitting rooms \nand armchairs that invite guests to try them out. È la Christchurch Mansion di \nIpswich la cui porta è diventata la protagonista \ndi una curiosa storia. Nel 1800 mastri falegnami e \nvetrai costruirono un maestoso portone, testimone \ndell’età vittoriana e del suo patrimonio culturale. Nel \n2011 alcuni ladri violarono il museo e per rendere \npiù sicuro e protetto l’intero edificio si pensò di \nrealizzare il portale ex novo rafforzandolo con \nsistemi di sicurezza in acciaio ma con la volontà di \nrimanere fedeli al materiale e al design originale. \nUn progetto unico nel suo genere in cui maestranze \nspecializzate hanno realizzato interamente a mano \nla struttura riproducendo perfino le imperfezioni \noriginali del legno grazie all’utilizzo di tecniche \ninnovative e all’avanguardia.
