The digital and human-abandoned technical solutions of today, made us look for the simple, the obvious
- what the eye sees and understands. In a near future, the function of cranking may no longer be found.
For us, a crank signals that something will happen when using it, go up and down, in or out. Why is
there a crank? We can almost look at Veva, as an educational product, to preserve a simple and, for us,
obvious manual invention. We are functionalists after all. And in the small, custom-made crankcase, major,
advanced technology can be found. A technique that normally requires completely different sizes to work.
