The piano has undergone a complete restoration, both aesthetically and
technically.
The external surface is entirely covered in inlaid natural mother-of-pearl
with brass decorations. The three-dimensional elements adorning the
wooden soundboard perimeter consist of 560 rhombuses with 5-faced
mother-of-pearl veneers.
The decorations and profiles are solid brass with a gold leaf finish.
Rectangular inserts on the legs and sides are made of natural onyx.
Internally, both the soundboard and the cast iron frame are finished in gold
leaf.
At the top of the lid, a floral painting by an artist with pastel tones on a gold
leaf base has been realized.
The technology incorporated for the self-playing feature is PianoDisk
PRODIGY, a leading company in piano automation.
Along with the piano, an iPad with the new iOS iQ app for music playback
and downloads is included. Warranty and updates are provided globally.
