Konstantin Grcic initiated BD’s recycled extrusions
collection with the Table B in 2009. He was inspired
by our classic profiles, such as the Hypostila shelf,
in developing a tabletop made of 95% recycled
extruded aluminum with a minimal profile that
can reach infinite lengths: the Table B. From three
different table openings and lengths to the ability
to add accessories such as cable baskets, power
sockets, trays, screens, desk lamps, and lighting,
Grcic is determined to achieve more with less.
This is evident in Workplace B and the unlimited
configurations the system offers—the evolution of
Table B.
More than just a workstation, it symbolizes BD’s
commitment to sustainable, functional, and modular
design—reaffirming Table B’s status as an icon and
bestseller in our catalog for many years.
