The dense curved lines of Dalí’s LEDA armchair
embrace the sitter in shining brass. Based on
Salvador Dalí’s painting, Woman with a Head of
Roses (1935), the LEDA was brought into the
three-dimensional world. A brass body sculpts
the sitter, and an arm stretches around, forming a
backrest with a reaching a hand that clutches the
armrest. Three slender legs taper down to shining
high heels. Its expressive curves reproduce the
creative energy of Dalí’s painting and mind.
The LEDA chair is also available in a limited-
edition black patina without varnish.
