Pila 47 is a fabric-covered armchair
designed for Rubelli by the designers
Paolo Emanuele Nava and Luca Ma-
ria Arosio, founders of Nava+Arosio
Studio.
Pila 47 is a new seat and a new way
of seating, where textile is the main
feature. All textile, entirely hand-
made. Apparently unstructured, Pila
47 continuously changes its shape:
when opened it is a pure geome-
tric form, but when the proper side
is lowered it becomes a comfortable
chair.
Pila 47 è una poltrona tessile creata
in esclusiva per Rubelli dai designer
Paolo Emanuele Nava e Luca Maria
Arosio, fondatori del Nava+Arosio
Studio.
Rappresenta un nuovo concetto di
seduta in cui il tessuto è il prota-
gonista principale. Interamente tes-
sile, completamente fatta a mano.
Apparentemente priva di struttura,
Pila 47 cambia aspetto di continuo:
aperta, è una pura forma geometri-
ca, ma quando il giusto lato si piega,
diventa una sedia confortevole.
