SABLIER, firmato da Monica Armani, è un’inedita interpretazione dell’acciaio inox, nell’ambito della
rubinetteria. Rifiutando gli stilemi comuni a questa tipologia di prodotto, la designer ha voluto creare
delle forme morbide e aggraziate, che invitano al contatto.
“Abbiamo sviluppato la collezione SABLIER combinando i segni organici e le sensazioni tattili
nella nostra memoria con le tecnologie costruttive, mirando a creare un prodotto funzionale e pratico
come si addice ad una linea di rubinetteria.” racconta Monica Armani.
Grazie ad un lavoro a più mani tra la designer e l’azienda si è definita la forma e l’ergonomia
di ciascun pezzo, sia nella versione monocomando che in quella tradizionale. Le sagome scolpite
nell’acciaio creano delle silhouette sinuose e aggraziate e rievocano la rotondità dei ciottoli di fiume
levigati dallo scorrere dell’acqua. Il profilo degli elementi richiama la forma della clessidra, da cui il
nome Sablier, un oggetto senza tempo, ma sempre riconoscibile.
Il risultato è una collezione moderna ed elegante, plasmata con maestria, con la stessa modalità
con cui il tempo, la materia, il vento e l’acqua modellano gli elementi naturali del paesaggio.
Ogni oggetto della collezione ha un aspetto elegante ed armonioso, le superfici sono piacevoli al tatto.
Oltre alla finitura spazzolata, tipica per l’acciaio inox, sono state ricercate nuove texture
originali capaci di esaltare ulteriormente la specificità di questa collezione. SABLIER è proposta
anche nella inedita versione sabbiata. Questo trattamento conferisce ai prodotti una presa ancora più
piacevole ed un effetto matt.

SABLIER, designed by Monica Armani, is a new interpretation of stainless steel on a line of bathroom
faucets. Departing from the style features common to stainless steel products the designer wanted
to create soft and graceful shapes that call for being touched.
“We developed the SABLIER collection by combining the organic traits and tactile sensations
in our memory with manufacturing technologies, aiming to create a functional and practical product as
suitable for a line of taps.” says Monica Armani.
Thanks to a collaborative effort between the designer and the company, shape and
ergonomics of each piece were defined, both in the single-lever and two handle versions. The forms
sculpted in steel create sinuous and graceful silhouettes and evoke the roundness of river pebbles
sculpted by the flow of sand and water. The profile of the elements recalls the shape of the hourglass,
hence the name Sablier, a timeless but always recognizable object.
The result is a modern and elegant collection, crafted with mastery, as time, elements, wind
and water shape the natural elements of the landscape.Each object in the collection has an elegant
and harmonious appearance, the surfaces are very pleasant to the touch.
In addition to the brushed finish, typical for stainless steel, new original textures capable
of further enhancing the uniqueness of this collection have been researched. SABLIER is also
available in the innovative sandblasted version. This treatment gives the products an even more
pleasant grip and a sublime matt effect.
SABLIER is a collection that blends modern design, comfort and respect for the environment.
The attention to detail and the tactile sensations of silkiness and warmth turn every single usage
