The Coverbed bed by the Swedish designer Anna von Schewen offers an innovative and minimal design: a visible metal frame and a soft padded headboard, playing the double textile effect. A Nordic taste with Mediterranean colours for a cosmopolitan bed. “The concept of the Undercover sofa, launched last year, finds its natural evolution in the cozy and inviting headboard of the Coverbed”, the designer explains. “The slot in the cover of the headboard reveals a layer of different colours and textures. The possibility to enjoy both these layers creates a visual tension and pairs with the comfort it provides.”
Both frame and feet are in white painted steel with suspension on bent beech strips, natural varnished. The polyurethane-padded headboard, with a quilted external cover with heat-bound polyester fibre, as well as the cushions in Dacron Du Pont, are covered with removable fabric or leather. The bed is also available with a frame, covered with fabric or leather, on a light Dacron Du Pont padding.
