Zanota’s strong point has always been its ability to embrace
diferent eras of design while remaining the undisputed
protagonist. Our furniture has interpreted and shaped cul-
tural and costume revolutions, marking them with a strong
and authoritative, iconic and playful presence.
Icons such as the Sacco armchair have suggested a new
way of siting, contributing towards the consideration that
behind a piece of furniture lies a line of thinking and a vi-
sion of society too; the Quaderna series has transformed
the radical experimentations of Superstudio into house-
hold products; we have presented our take on Postmodern
design with Alessandro Mendini, Andrea Branzi and Et-
tore Sotsass Jr.
These days, Zanota works with designers who best in-
terpret contemporary trends, renewing that special bond
which ties us to the bravest designers and drives us every
day to push past the boundaries of novelty, further and
further.
La forza di Zanota è, da sempre, saper atraversare le epo-
che del design rimanendone protagonista indiscussa. I no-
stri arredi hanno interpretato e dato forma a rivoluzioni
culturali e del costume, segnandole con una presenza forte
e autorevole, ironica e giocosa.
Icone come la poltrona Sacco hanno indicato un nuovo
modo di sedersi, contribuendo ad accreditare l’idea che
dietro un arredo ci sono anche un pensiero e una visione
della società; la serie Quaderna ha trasformato in prodoti
domestici le sperimentazioni radical di Superstudio; con
Alessandro Mendini, Andrea Branzi ed Etore Sotsass Jr.
abbiamo rappresentato il Postmodern.
Oggi Zanota lavora con i designer che meglio interpre-
tano le tendenze contemporanee, rinnovando quel pato
speciale che ci lega ai progetisti più coraggiosi e ci spinge
ogni giorno a spostare, sempre di più, i confni del nuovo.
